For those of you who don’t know, my skin tone is pale neutral to cool yellow. Neutral or Neutral/Yellow foundations usually work best on me. My foundation matches are Cover FX N0, Idun Minerals Nordic Veil in Jorunn, Huda Beauty Fauxfilter in Milkshake.

Interrogate
medium peachy rose cream

Interrogate is pretty but it definitely leans more orange-peach instead of rose on pale skin like mine. This is my least favorite shade from this set but I think I can still make it work.

Safeword
neutral nude-pink matte comfort matte

Safeword is a great neutral for pale skin like mine. It’s definitely more of a nude beige on me. Also, I love the name. Hyacinthe, anyone?

Peyote
metallic dusty mauve-rose

I have loved Peyote since the moment I got my hands on it. It’s a beautiful metallic rose gold shade on me.

Outspoken
metallic mauve-nude pink

Outspoken actually has tiny gold sparkles in it! It’s a warm metallic mauve-nude.

Hideaway
medium mauve-nude pink comfort matte

Hideaway is a great mauve pink. I feel like it’s more of a cool-toned nude lipstick color. It looks very natural on fair skin like mine.

Control
bright blue with teal shift comfort matte

Control is a blindingly bright blue with teal shift. I really think it’s a fun color!

Doubt
red with blue undertones matte

Doubt is my all-time favorite red lipstick! I love reds with a blue undertone. It’s a matte and it somehow makes my lips look so full!

Afterdark
medium-dark berry pink matte

Afterdark is a deep, rich berry pink. I really love how it looks.

Heartache
metallic bright magenta with tonal shimmer

Heartache is an amazing bright pink with purple undertone and violet shimmer.

Voodoo
metallic black with pink shimmer

Voodoo is an awesome black with pink shimmer. And it’s not subtle shimmer either. I love it! It’s very perky goth.

The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick formula is my all-time favorite because it’s the most comfortable formula for me to wear. Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks come in so many different finishes! Sheer, cream, comfort matte, mega matte, metallized, sheer shimmer, shimmer, matte and glitter. My favorite finishes tend to be the comfort matte, matte, cream, and metallized.

The best way to apply traditional bullet lipstick is to use a lip pencil to outline your lips and fill them in. Then apply your weapon of choice, ahem, lipstick. Blot it gently with a tissue. Then apply and blot again if necessary. You can also add a gloss to the center of your lips or add an iridescent lip-safe eyeshadow.
