Hey friends! You asked for a tutorial on the recent Nyx look I shared on Instagram (@phyrra). This is my Nyx Perfect Filter Gloomy Days Tutorial. It’s a full face of makeup tutorial. I use mostly Nyx products for this tutorial. I make suggestions on Nyx options for the non-Nyx products I used. I LOVE cool toned eyeshadow palettes! The Nyx Perfect Filter Palette in Gloomy Days is my favorite cool toned eyeshadow palette. It’s cruelty-free, affordable and filled with flattering, easy to use eyeshadows. It’s perfect for everyday makeup looks. By the way, this whole look is cool toned from the eyes to the cheeks to the lips! This simple tutorial can be adapted for any eye shape but works well on hooded eyes like mine. Taupes like this are great for making blue, green, and blue-green eyes pop!

My Nyx Perfect Filter Gloomy Days Tutorial is perfect for hooded eyes! This palette is a great everyday palette for someone who loves to wear neutrals and wants cool-toned neutrals. I love that each eyeshadow is .06 oz of product, so they’re a bit larger than your average eyeshadow single. You’ve also got 2 subtle duochromes – the taupe that I used for the main color of this look and the light taupe lid shade. Seriously, this is a versatile palette! It also has a white and black matte.
