Pink Crush Metamorphosis Palette Tutorial

Pink Crush Metamorphosis Palette Tutorial

Hello, beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing an indie makeup Pink Crush Metamorphosis Palette Tutorial featuring Pink Crush Cosmetics Metamorphosis Palette and Rituel de Fille Atmosphere Airglow Luminous Hybrid Primer + Balm, along with Nix and Galatea Ethereal Veils and Intuition Inner Cream Glow pigment. This tutorial is a purple and blue eyeshadow tutorial for hooded eyes. For the complexion part of this tutorial, I have my studio lights minimized and use natural light to make sure you can see my skin texture and imperfections.

Makeup Thoughts

Philip de Franco Emotionally Exhausted Pastel Goth Cotton Candy Hoodie

Peaches & Cream is a new indie brand to me. I purchased several of their pencils to try out. The colors are great, but they don’t hold up well on my waterline. I was hoping for longer lasting power.

Because of having Rosacea, I have always struggled to find a product that I could use to hide my skin’s imperfections without having to do a full face of foundation. Rituel de Fille’s Nix matches my neck and chest, which never have redness. Rituel de Fille’s Galatea works to neutralize some of my facial redness, and the yellow undertone seems to help it blend in so that I can finally spot conceal without it being obvious. Mixing the two lets me add dimension to my face. I’m so glad I gave Galatea a try!

Indie Makeup Tutorial

Most mainstream makeup companies have discontinued all their fun lip colors and lip pencils, making me sad. KVD’s lip pencils were great and came in such a wide variety of colors, so seeing KVD get rid of the blues, purples, blacks, etc., was very disappointing. Same with Urban Decay and so many other brands. It makes me so grateful that we have indie makeup brands who continue to create these alternative and fun colors rather than safe shades.

I want to see more brands offering duochrome palettes, purple, blue, and green color stories, and complex colors. What do you want to see brands creating?
