Personal Life Update
Hey friends, I’m back with a new personal life update + video games I’m playing video. It’s been far too long since I’ve put a video up on YouTube. I ended up taking a break from YouTube for my mental health. In today’s video I tell you the different things I’ve been doing to stay sane while staying home.
Personal Life Update + Video Games I’m Playing Right Now Video
Watch the video on YouTube with Closed Captioning in English!
I always add closed captioning in English to my videos on YouTube. I believe I’ve done it for the past 4 or 5 years. I have several reasons for doing it. First and foremost, I watch almost all tv and movies with captions on because I have trouble discerning voices from background noise, so I wanted to make my videos more accessible for people like me. Second, I do it to be inclusive for people who have hearing loss or are deaf so that they can enjoy the videos too. Third, I do it because I have a lot of friends who like to watch my videos with the sound off and captions on so that they can multitask. Fourth, it’s a very easy thing for me to do because I use Rev.com for captioning or I do the transcribing myself.
Spend Time with Me
If you’re ever wondering how I’m doing, you can spend time with me online in the PhyrraNyx Facebook Group. I’m pretty active in the group and respond to questions and comments there daily. I also update my Instagram Stories daily, so you can see snippets of my life, Nyx and Amaya, and more there.
DIY Nails at Home
I’m still practicing to get better at using Orly Builder in a Bottle with my Apres Natural Short Stiletto Tips on my nails. Once I’ve gotten better, I’ll film a tutorial for you.
Mornings with Gratitude
As I mention in the video, I’m still doing my Miracle Mornings and Gratitude Journaling daily. I’m also still doing affirmations. All of these positive things are helping me stay sane during these uncertain times in my personal life.
Now that you’ve heard from me in my personal life update, how are you doing? Let me know in the comments below!

It’s nice to see an update from you & that you’re keeping busy during this really strange time. There’s so many other words I can use to describe what’s going on in our world, in our lives, right now….but I’ll stick to strange for now LOL
I’m really looking forward to the fall season coming back again finally & just getting lost in it as usual. There’s nothing like autumn, it’s very nostalgic….especially here on the east coast. I’m also really looking forward to your videos & blog posts for the coming season! Hang in there & stay strong, Courtney. You’re always inspiring.
I’m so glad you do closed caption. I have a hearing loss and even with my aids I have trouble. Closed caption means I don’t miss things and I can watch when I have insomnia without waking my DH.
