Is NARS Cruelty-free?
Is NARS Cruelty-free?
One of the brands I get asked about frequently is NARS. People want to know, is NARS cruelty-free? NARS claims to be cruelty-free on its website. The answer is no. However, if you look at the information that NARS presents on its website, it is very misleading. Most people would think that NARS is cruelty-free.
NARS is not Cruelty-free
Allow me to help you understand why NARS is not cruelty-free. That line about ‘NARS does not test on animals, nor do we ask others to test on our behalf’ sounds great, right? It is, except for the second part of the sentence ‘except where required by law.’ That part means that anywhere animal testing is mandatory, such as in China, NARS will test.
NARS is testing on animals in China, so they’re not cruelty-free.
Is NARS PETA Certified?
No, NARS is not certified by PETA. Even PETA doesn’t believe their weak-ass tea about being cruelty-free.
Is NARS Leaping Bunny Certified?
No, NARS is not Leaping Bunny certified. NARS would have to prove that they are not testing on animals anywhere to be certified by Leaping Bunny. Learn the secrets behind Leaping Bunny certification!
