Terra Moons Purple Hooded Eyes Makeup

Terra Moons Purple Hooded Eyes Makeup

Hello, beautiful creatures! I wanted to share my Terra Moons Purple Hooded Eyes Makeup look with you. I used mostly top indie makeup brands to create this look. My hair is up in a messy bun in these photos. I normally sleep with my hair up in a bun like this or I put my hair into twin braids down my back. Braids and buns are nice protective hair styles for when you’re growing your hair out.

Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step-by-Step Tutorial on Hooded Eyes

Here’s how I created my Terra Moons Purple Hooded Eyes Makeup look step-by-step.

  1. After applying my eyeshadow primer, I painted Sydney Grace Awakening, a purple cream eyeshadow, onto my lid, my crease, and my lower lid. I extended the shape slightly upwards onto the hood of my eyes to help create a rounded shape and elongated the outer corner of the eye to create a wing.
  2. I used Kaleidos Night of Creation pencil to outline the the shape around my eyes, the wing, and the lower lid.
  3. Terra Moons Moon Tide patted on the outer 1/2 of the lid and the wing.
  4. Terra Moons Lost in Space was patted on the inner 1/2 of the lid.
  5. With a tiny brush, I highlighted the inner v with Terra Moons Euphoria.
  6. I used a smudger brush to smudge Sydney Grace Haven along the lower lid.
  7. To add extra dimension, I used Oden’s Eye Double-Sided to highlight under the brows.

Final Thoughts

I love to use cream eyeshadows as bases for multichrome looks. I struggled a little bit to get Kaleidos Night of Creation pencil to show up on the first pass, so I ended up going over that outline liner twice. Terra Moons Lost in Space, Moon Tide and Euphoria are all easy to work with, beautiful eyeshadows, and really pop on my skin.

I’m in love with the Salt New York Sneaky Balm! Because it’s so sheer, I feel like it gives me a comfortable light coverage complexion perfection product that matches my undertones perfectly. It’s very comfortable to wear. I haven’t yet had the time to film an all day wear test to see how long it wears.

Danessa Myricks Gold Prism FX Hydrating Lotion is my favorite primer product because it hydrates my skin and gives me an iridescent glow. It’s a great base product for my dry skin.

I’ve been setting the Salt New York Sneaky Balm with Fenty Pro Filt’r Loose Setting powder in Lavender or the Silk Naturals Meld Setting Powder in Light. I don’t typically need oil control, but I do need my face product to not wear off on my phone or my husband.

Pour one out for UD Bun Bun. Bun Bun is one of my all-time favorite neutrals, in one of my all-time favorite lipstick formulas. I’m so sad that Urban Decay discontinued this particular lipstick formula. For that matter, I’m sad that Urban Decay discontinued their Afterglow blushes.

Are there any discontinued products that you’re sad about?
