Makeup Geek Porcelain Princess Flawless Face Palette Swatches
Tryst is the contour shade from the Makeup Geek Porcelain Princess palette, which I personally think leans very warm on my skintone. Contour shades should be cooler-toned, to mimic natural shadows.
First Crush and Sweetheart are nice blushes for pale skin like mine. I love the matte finish and how they look when worn.
I swatched Gleam from the Porcelain Princess palette next to NARS Albatross. I thought Gleam was going to be a white-based gold highlighter, like Albatross. It’s not. On my skin it looks very yellow and doesn’t really highlight, vs. Albatross which does a great job of catching the light. I was hopeful that Gleam was a cruelty free dupe for Albatross, but it’s not on me.
Celestial, Moon Phase and Glitz are TRUE Makeup Geek porcelain skin highlighters. I wish Gleam had the same white-based formula as these three shades. See my review.

Makeup Geek Porcelain Princess Video
In the video I explain my thoughts about the Makeup Geek Porcelain Princess Flawless Face Palette in detail, along with some things about Makeup Geek. Ultimately, I’m disappointed with this palette. I bought it for travel and I can’t use the highlighter in it as a highlighter. Nor do I like the contour shade for contouring.

I think that Tryst would work me. I’m thinking about giving it a try to see.
Sweet Heart would be the perfect blush for me 🙂
Hi there, a bit off the subject but I have been dying to say that I LOVE that color hair on you. The wig looks awesome. I have similar coloring to you and if I were a bit younger, I would try the wig. Again, fabulous.
Too bad it wasn’t really for porcelain skin like yours.
The name made it sound so perfect. I remember asking you about this and now I’m glad I waited for your review.
Sorry it wasn’t truly for you Porcelain Princesses after all. Looks more like my shade range
Bummer that it was disappointing! Moonphase looks so pretty on your skintone.
Thank you!
I think I’ll skip this one!! Great review.
Thanks Judy!
I just ordered the Celestial highlighter. I have seen it in your videos and it looks so lovely and not like anything I have seen before. I hope it works for my older skin. Highlighter is so difficult on textured skin but I am hopeful with this one 🙂
I hope you love it as much as I do!
