  1. Briogeo is my favorite! I can’t used anything that comes in an aerosol form – I get an incredibly itchy scalp. There’s a brand called SkinnySkinny that we used to carry at my old salon job that was pretty popular and came in some unique scents like rose and black pepper.

  2. There are so many dry shampoo options. I want the Elizabeth and James Nirvana one but I didn’t know they have a rose version!

  3. Hi Courtney. I have heard that Love Beauty and Planet is not cruelty free. How did you confirm they are? Thanks!

    1. Here’s what they claim. I’m still waiting for another email from them – https://www.lovebeautyandplanet.com/us/en/editorial/ingredients-go-vegan.html

“Love Beauty and Planet products are not tested on animals and are independently vegan certified by Vegan Action. This is something we’re super proud of. We are also committed to sourcing high quality ingredients, but only responsibly. Each of our fragrances incorporates an ethically sourced extract or absolute, and each range is infused with a signature natural ingredient, such as murumuru butter, shea butter and coconut water.”

Love Beauty and Planet is certified vegan by Vegan Action’s Website

      https://vegan.org/certification/

Products must not have involved animal testing of ingredients or finished products by the supplier, producer, manufacturer, or independent party and may not be tested in the future.

Products may not contain any animal-derived GMO’s or animal-derived genes used to manufacture ingredients or finished product.

So to me, it looks like Vegan Action is good / comparable to Leaping Bunny, but I’m just trying to make sure.

they’re certified vegan, BUT I want them to confirm that they’re not selling anywhere with mandatory animal testing. Yes, Unilever has a blanket legal policy that says they don’t test except where required by law, but that doesn’t mean that this brand is sold anywhere that they test.

However, if they don’t respond about this, I will remove them from this list.

      1. Thank you so much for all the information! I didn’t comment sooner because I didn’t get a notification that you responded to me. Anyways, never heard of Vegan Action….I will have to check them out. I feel like I read somewhere that they were CF but then i saw they were owned by Unilever and in my head I’m like, well i’m sure they sell in countries that have mandatory testing because Unilever. Then (I wish I could remember where I saw the other info) I read that they were not cf….maybe Tashina had something? I’m not exactly sure. But thanks for checking!
