About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration
Hello, beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration with you. Recently, About Face launched holographic eye paints, aka multichrome eye paints. I’m a fan of the About Face Fractal Glitter Eye Paints, and I have a lot of fun with the Matte Fluid Eye Paints, so was excited to see how their multichromes perform. Spoiler alert, they’re awesome! I purchased three shades: Luna (yellow shifts to green and blue), Inner World (blue shifts to teal and purple), and Total Eclipse (orange red shifts to red and gold). I also included some mini reviews on makeup products too.
These are $18 each and currently available at Ulta Beauty. I haven’t seen them on About Face’s website.

MOB Beauty Cream Clay Eyeshadows Review
MOB Beauty says that the Cream Clay Eyeshadows are a clay-infused formula that dries down to a semi-powder finish as you blend. I could never get the Cream Clay Eyeshadows to set or last on my eyes. It didn’t matter what eyeshadow primer I used, whether I set it with a matching eyeshadow or didn’t set it, this formula would immediately crease and wear away on me. I know that MOB says they spent over a year testing this formula, and it uses a combination of two types of clay and four plant waxes, but, it’s a miss for me.
I wanted to love the MOB Beauty Cream Clay Eyeshadows so very much, but unfortunately, they’re not a fit for my oily deepset eyelids and I don’t think they would have worked well on my oily hooded eyelids prior to my blepharoplasty. This formula might be better suited to those without oily, hooded, or deepset eyes. MOB Beauty Cream Clay Eyeshadows are cruelty-free and vegan.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush Review
I recently bought Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in Cheer. Cheer is described as a light warm pink and it’s Selena’s signature shade. This is a gorgeous soft light warm pink that looks flattering to me on my very fair neutral cool skin tone. The Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush formula has a multidimensional formula reminiscent of baked mineral blush and it blends into the skin effortlessly. I love a nice glowly blush formula and it adds a soft sweet glow to my cheeks in my About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration makeup look.
While not a groundbreaking blush formula, I’m into this glowy finish and I would definitely pick up another shade if they had one I need in my collection. I have a cool-toned beige brown hole in my blush collection. Overall, I’m very happy with Cheer and I would recommend checking out the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush if you’re looking for a new blush.
Silk Naturals Tulle Velvet Matte Lipstick Review
If you are looking for a light neutral-toned mauve pink lipstick, look no further than Silk Naturals Tulle Velvet Matte Lipstick. It pairs perfectly with Nyx Fierce Flirt Lip Liner Pencil too. Tulle is the natural lip color choice to work for my About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration makeup look, as I wanted something that didn’t compete with my eyes.
All too often recently I’ve seen lipsticks described as mauve pink, but they’re really more of an orange-brown that might have a hint of pink if you squint, so it’s nice to be able to buy a truly neutral-toned mauve pink instead of a warm shade.
I love the Silk Naturals Velvet Matte Lipstick formula, as it’s not drying. It is lightly hydrating on my dry lips. And you can always use them as a cream blush, too. I purchased Tulle again recently to feature because it can be so difficult to find neutral, and especially cool toned, MLBB for fair skin like mine.
Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter Review
I wanted to add a cool-toned champagne to my highlighter collection, so I recently purchased Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in Enlighten. This natural highlighter shade is so gorgeous and the formula melts into my skin. I’ve been experimenting with quick natural makeup looks and this highlighter is the perfect icing on top for those moods. In fact, I think it looks great in my About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration makeup look.
I have one minor complaint about the Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter. The formula is so delicate that the first one I purchased shattered in transit. When I went in person to Sephora to replace the broken one, the lovely mua who assisted me said this happened frequently with these highlighters.
Despite the fragile formula, I love the glass skin effect Enlighten gives and I will repurchase when I run out. I’d also pick up another color in this formula if they had an ethereal teal blue violet.
Health Update
Things have been very challenging for me as I recover from my surgeries. I’ve shared more personal details in the Hex Squad if you want to offer support or chat. My stamina has greatly improved since I’ve been walking 10-20k steps daily. Unfortunately, my entire body inflamed and I’m now focusing on reducing the inflammation.
Final Thoughts
Today is the first day in a while that I’ve played with makeup on me. I’m so happy that my About Face Holographic Eye Paint Luna Inspiration makeup look came together nicely. What do you think of the About Face Holographic Eye Paints?
