Looking at all the foundations and concealers together, I feel like the foundation line looks very warm / yellow toned compared to the concealers, which look more pink toned.
If you wear Snow or Pearl, you may be unable to find a match in the new concealer line. They just don’t make a concealer shade pale enough. You can see my swatches comparing Very Fair to other pale concealers here.
It has some really good ingredients in it like Hyaluronic Acid, but they’re really far down in the ingredients listing, meaning that they’re present in negligible amounts, so you may not see a lot of benefit from it. Hyaluronic Acid is a must have for dry skin. It’s ability to retain moisture is legendary. It helps you hold onto moisture and strengthens the skin’s barrier. It basically makes your skin look and feel softer, smoother and plumper. It’s also an antioxidant and helps to reduce inflammation. So if you have sensitive skin or rosacea, it can be good for you. I just wish it was higher up in the ingredients listing.
The formula is very moisturizing, so it is an absolute must to set this with a setting powder or setting spray after application or you’ll end up with creasing. I think you’ll like this concealer if you have dry skin, provided you can find a color match. If you have oily skin, I think you may want to skip this one.
My recommendation for application would be to apply a tiny amount where you need it, such as under the eyes, with the doe foot applicator. Then take a damp beauty blender to blend it out. Then use a damp beauty blender with a bit of setting spray or setting powder on it and gently press and roll it on top of the concealer to lock it in.
