Sugarpill Sooty Dollipop Tutorial

Happy Sunday! I’ve got another edition of Get Ready with Me for you today. I used all Sugarpill eyeshadow, including Dollipop and colors from the Cold Chemistry release. I’m having a rosacea flare up, so my skin is crazy red and unhappy. Boo! I did my own version of this look from Pinterest that some of you asked me to recreate on Instagram. Here’s my version of the look. I had a lot of difficulty getting Poison Plum to look right, which is why I ended up using some of Elemental Chaos. This is a pretty good video for color placement if you have hooded eyelids like I do.

If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up 🙂

Right after I filmed the video I had a major snafu with my lashes. Part of the lash adhesive migrated onto my browbone, so my eyelid got stuck to my browbone because of my hooded eyes! LOL! Anyway, I used Fantabulsh Eyelash Adhesive Tape to apply the lashes and it’s a lot easier than lash glue. I developed an allergy to lash glue so I can’t use it anymore and I’m glad that I found Fantabulash. I still am not skilled at applying lashes, but Fantabulash makes it easier than trying to use glue.

In this video you see my current foundation routine:  primer, applying a foundation with a latex sponge, applying NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder with another latext sponge, done! What’s yours?
