Speck Aubergine Kindle Fire Case

Speck Products Kindle Fire Case in Aubergine

You all know that I love my Kindle Fire from Amazon. I’ve had my Peacock case by Speck Products for years. My case was looking worse for the wear so Speck sent me a new one! Thank you Speck! My old case is Peacock (bright turquoise blue) and the new case is a gorgeous deep purple called Aubergine.

Speck Aubergine Kindle Fire Case

My first Speck case lasted almost 3 years, which wasn’t bad at all. The FitFolio model by Spec protects your kindle with a hard shell that locks the e-reader into place. It also has vegan leather that covers the entire device. It comes in bright turquoise blue, purple, hot pink, black and a teal and red floral print.

I have dropped my kindle very rarely, but each time I was grateful that I had this case because my floors are acid etched concrete. I.e. most things that drop on them break. Ray has actually killed a kindle that way, but he refuses to use a case. It drives me crazy!

What do you think of the Speck Aubergine Kindle Fire Case? What color would you choose?

  1. I’ve used the black one on my Nexus 7 for two years now and quite like it. It’s gotten a bit warped over time, so it doesn’t work as well as a stand anymore, but it still does its main job well enough.
