Today I’ve got a Revitalash Volumizing Mascara Primer review to share with you. This primer is supposed to give your lashes a boost. It’s supposed to coat the lashes, make them appear thicker and longer, and help them to be stronger. It claims to give you more dramatic lashes. The indigo blue color is supposed to be depth-intensifying.

Unfortunately for me, this primer just didn’t live up to its claims. I tried it with Urban Decay Perversion Mascara, Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Physicians Formula Sexy Cat Eyes Booster mascara. I got lackluster results.

I did love the blue color. The color is great. This is about the only positive thing  I can say about this mascara primer.

I hated the formula as it was too wet for my lashes and was prone to clumping on me. I didn’t have a discernible difference between using the primer + mascara vs. mascara on its own. In fact, it was more likely to give me clumpy lashes than to work. And they certainly weren’t longer. I got the best results with the Physicians Formula Sexy Cat Eyes Booster mascara, and I think that’s because that formula just works really well for me. So overall, this is a mascara primer I would skip.
