Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care

Hey friends, I’m excited to introduce you to the new Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care line. The founder of Pacifica, Brook, wanted to create a vegan collagen skin care line with zero animal ingredients. It uses real collagen proteins produced via a plant-based fermentation process. The clinical study conducted on the products stated that this vegan collagen improved skin elasticity by 28% in just 2 weeks, with a significant improvement in skin moisturizer.

Pacifica has an eye on sustainability as well. The packaging for this collection is made of glass, which can be recycled. The boxes are FSC certified paper boxes. Thank you to Pacifica for sending me these PR samples.

Where to Buy
Pacifica, Ulta

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care

Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream – $16 for .5 fl. oz.

I’m intrigued by this eye cream, though it wasn’t included in the PR I received. The Pacifica Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream has caffeine in it to help de-puff and wake up your eyes. Hyaluronic acid helps to hydrate the delicate under eye area.

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Night Cream

Vegan Collagen Overnight Recovery Cream – $24 for 1.7 fl. oz.

I am on the prowl for the perfect night cream for my skin. I desperately wish this was not in a jar. I hate jar packaging. I prefer airless pumps as I despise dipping my fingers in jars. I wish people who developed packaging for skin care would do away with jars. Anyway, this night cream is supposed to be perfect for dry skin, chock full of essential lipids and antioxidants, and of course, vegan collagen. After using it for a few weeks I can say that it doesn’t seem hydrating enough for my dry 42 year old skin.

Pacifica Vegan Cream Gel Cleanser

Vegan Cream Creamy Gel Cleanser – $15 for 4.7 fl. oz.

Pacifica’s sulfate-free hydrating cleanser is a hydrating cleanser with vegan collagen. It does have a scent, so I checked the ingredients. Pacifica states they use natural and/or essential oils for their fragrance. I love this cleanser! It’s hydrating and leaves my skin feeling clean not tight.

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Hydrating Milk Tonic

Vegan Collagen Hydrating Milk Tonic – $16 for 4.7 fl. oz.

Are you a hydrating toner fan? I suspect the alcohol-free tonic will fast become a favorite. It’s a very nice toner in my opinion.

Vegan Collagen Complex Serum – $22 for 1 fl. oz.

I’m a serum junkie and loving this vegan collagen serum. I’ve been giving it a whirl! It has plant-based proteins and hyaluronic acid.

Pacifica Vegan Collagen SPF30 Every Day Lotion

Vegan Collagen SPF30 Every Day Lotion – $19 for 1.7 fl. oz.

I love a good SPF, though I wish this was at least SPF 40. The sun is STRONG here in Florida and I wear SPF 365 days a year. This SPF is not waterproof, so remember to reapply after swimming or sweating when wearing it. Always reapply at least every 2 hours.

Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care Thoughts

What I love about the Pacifica Vegan Collagen Skin Care Collection is that it is 100% cruelty-free and 100% vegan. It’s also very affordable.

I really like the concept of plant based collagen though I don’t know how well it works in practice. My favorite products from this line are the Vegan Cream Creamy Gel Cleanser and the Vegan Collagen Complex Serum.

What I don’t love about this collection is the scent! While Pacifica states that their skin care line has a subtle scent, here are my thoughts on the scent. I don’t have a particularly sharp nose, though I have been working to improve my sense of smell. I have allergies  year round, which impede my ability to smell.  This skin care line has a flowery scent that I can smell for at least an hour after application when it comes to the night cream. If you get migraines like I do, you may want to avoid this line.

What do you think of the Pacifica Vegan Collage Skin Care Collection?

  1. I have the “toner”, the serum and the eye serum and I love them! I’ve noticed my skin is super soft lately. I’ve been using about 2 weeks. I don’t put the “toner” on a pad though, i just squirt on my hand and apply to my face. It’s basically a serum. Would recommend. I think Pacifica has a sale on Ulta right now.

    1. Also wanted to add they I don’t notice much of a smell. It is very light. To me. 🙂

  2. I wish brands would stop with the heavy fragrances. But when people buy products, they often buy based on smell. So until they stop doing that, brands will keep using fragrance!
