Nyx Wonder Pencil Light Review and Swatches

My Thoughts
This has been PERFECT to line the lower waterline with to brighten the eye. It works well to add a matte highlight at the inner corner or under the brows. I’ve yet to try it as a reverse lip liner. It works pretty well as a concealer if you use a concealer brush and dab it on to spot conceal.

It’s non-irritating to my eyes and skin. I was happy that the generic Light shade would work on my skintone. I can’t believe it’s an awesome, multi-tasking product and you can get it for under $5. It’s $5 well spent, especially if one of the shades works for you.

Have you tried the Nyx Wonder Pencil? What’s your favorite multi-tasking product?

  1. I’ve been trying to buy a Wonder pencil in light since March! Ulta never has that shade in stock, grrrr. They must be good ‘coz they’re never there lol. Your aqua eye looks lovely 🙂

  2. I really want to try this wonder pencil. I’ve heard great things about it. Thanks for sharing!

  3. 100% sold on Light for a waterline pencil! Might grab Medium for a lip liner.

  4. Can’t argue with the price point! I keep hoping to find some kind of mythical concealer that will disguise both my sleep deprivation and my terrible habit, but so far it’s eluded me; this sounds like it would work better on individual problem spots than under the eyes, but for less than $5 it’s worth a try 😉

  5. Ew! Not so multitasking, I hope! Think about it, would you want to go from covering a zit to your waterline, or lips? Or would you want to go from lining your lips to your waterline? I would still need to buy separate pencils for each task!

    1. DonnaJ I’ve used it to line my waterline, highlight around my eyes, and taken a concealer brush to it to dab it on to conceal. I haven’t tried it as a reverse lip liner around my lips yet, but good point!

  6. AH! Thanks for posting this. I remember when the promo images for this came out, I was so interested in it, but it wasn’t available. Then I totally forgot about it til now. It looks amazing!
