Nyx Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Review
The Nyx Eye & Lip Makeup Remover was once my favorite makeup remover. I realized I’d never done a formal review on it, so I figured I’d do so.

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes, it does. I LOVED this cleanser. You just shake up the bottle and then use a cotton pad and you can wipe off all your makeup. It works for waterproof stuff, it works for the 24 hour lip stuff, it works for everything. Additionally it doesn’t irritate your skin. I have sensitive skin. Sometimes, when I’m shooting video tutorials, I’d do 5 in one day and having to take my makeup off in between would leave my eyes red, puffy and irritated. Using this makeup remover, I never had that issue.
Would I purchase again?
Yes, though I am loathe to because I cannot purchase it in a store. It is only available online and I am tired of purchasing it from CherryCulture.com and having to pay shipping on it. I wish it was carried at Ulta, since Ulta carries a lot of Nyx products.
Product was purchased by me, several times. All opinions are my own.
I agree, NYX should have more of an instore presence! I wonder why they don’t sell it in more stores. If they did, I’d spend way more $$ on NYX. Oh well, I’ll put this on my wishlist for my next Cherry Culture order
Yeah I wish I knew, to be honest.
If you are looking for a replacement that is easier to find, Physicians Formula makes a nice one. It is part of their Organic Wear line and it comes in eye makeup remover pads, full-face towels, and in a liquid formula. The ingredient list is simple and although it contains lavender oil (I remember reading that you detest the scent of lavender), it has very little to no scent (at least according to my nose). I have found the pads and towels at Ulta and the liquid formula at Target. The cost is less than $7.
Ooh, I’ll add that one to my list! Thank you! I really do detest lavender, but sometimes the smell is faint enough it doesn’t bother me.
I used this remover a few months ago and I love the way it smells! It does work really well, but I have the same issue with having to order it from cherry culture. Kind of annoying.
It feels sooo good on your eyes too, after you’ve done like 5 makeup looks in one day, it’s very soothing.
Morning Phyrra! I am looking for a new makeup remover, so this is helpful. I’ll check it out. I too wish more things were carried ‘in store’. It gets old paying shipping for most all of my products. I am going to Ulta today, I’ll keep an eye out for this…who knows maybe it’s here.
I can only hope it’s there, but I was told, when I asked at my local Ulta, that they didn’t carry it and they weren’t planning on carrying it, which I find sad.
