Necromancy Cosmetica Necromantia Lipstick

Necromancy Cosmetica Necromantia Lipstick

Happy Teal Thursday! I have found my PERFECT dark teal blue lipstick – Necromancy Cosmetica Necromantia Lipstick. It’s an ultra matte dark teal blue metallic lipstick. I tried experimenting with the lighting for the headshots in this post. It was too dark so I had to manually correct them. The lighting for the close up lip shots was my normal lighting.

Redness from rosacea

I have a lot of redness from rosacea today. Stress is a trigger for me and this has been an extremely stressful week.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Japonesque Radiance Primer is a cruelty free dupe for MAC Strobe cream, at least what I can remember of it from when I had it. I applied it all over my face like a normal primer.

No, this eyeshadow look isn’t strictly flattering for hooded eyes, but I needed to wear some mood boosting purple and I wanted a cat eye shape. I applied my colors with my eyes open, looking forward, to figure out where to do the bright matte placement. I really liked all the purple shades together on the lid.

Necromantia, Necromantia, seriously I don’t think I’ve ever worn a more perfect dark teal blue. It’s such a great shade. So far the formula is comfortable too. Lydia is a really nice dark purple. And you already know that I love Bruja. It’s still my go-to neutral lip color.

Which lip color do you like best?

  1. I honestly can say that I think you are the only person who can pull off colors like these.. I am in love with the Bruja lippie~ it is so pretty!! Maybe subtle enough that I could rock it 😉

  2. Nacromantia reminds me of Colourpop’s Dr. M., but less matte. How do they feel? I’m assuming they’re probably less drying than a liquid lipstick.

  3. Yap the teal and the purple with the Snow white look you get even on a not so good skin day is magic! Yo really master the gothglam, Phyrra! Inspiring and uplifting 🙂

  4. That teal is fantastic and looks perfect on you. I can’t get over your eye look. I really, really love it.

  5. That dark teal lipsticks looks exceptionally wonderful on you. It honestly really suits you and your complexion. How brave you are to photograph your face and put it onto the blog. Not even on a school camp as the senior teacher did I ever present myself without makeup….I have splotches of redness too. That foundation (in the half and half photo) shows how well it works. Any foundation can make a flawless face look good, but when you have problems -that’s what shows how good the foundation is. Well done on a great post Phyrra.

    1. Thank you so much! I hate showing my naked face when I’m red like that, but I also thought it would help people realize my skin (and many other people’s skin) is not perfect, and that’s ok. A good foundation can make it better 🙂

  6. I think I need Necromantia. I’ve been wondering how Necromancy’s lipsticks were! Teal looks so good on you!

  7. I’ve been wanting to try Necromancy’s lipsticks for a few months now! I don’t think I have the guts to pull off teal lips, but I love the color on you 😀

    1. Wear it around the house to get used to it. That’s how I get used to any color I’m unsure of. Thank you for the compliments!

  8. Your skin looks so good with that foundation! I get that rosacea band from one cheek, across the bridge of my nose to the other cheek and it STINGS when it’s flaring up. I have Too Faced powder foundation (to replace my MAC Studio Fix) but, I need a liquid for better coverage. I think the Urban Decay covered your rosacea beautifully.

    1. Thank you! I hate how I have that awful redness, some days I’m only slightly pink, but with stress, omg you can tell that it just brings out the red. ETA – You need to check out the new calm anti-redness BHA and serum from Paula’s Choice. They’ve really helped me a lot.
