Nails Inc Alexa Chung and Nailkale Nail Polish

This post is long overdue. I wanted to share these with you sooner. I’ve got some of the Nails Inc Alexa Chung and Nailkale nail polishes to show you.

About the Alexa Chung polish – $15
This limited-edition Nails Inc. polish is inspired by British style icon Alexa Chung’s own favorite fabrics. The textured look of silk, sequins, cashmere, or lace fabrics of each polish leaves nails with a unique, dramatic manicure. There are 4 shades.

About the Nailkale polish – $14
Created with Nails Inc’s patented Regenerating Complex—a blend of aldehyde, zinc, and calcium—this high-performance, high-gloss polish boosts the production of keratin for harder, healthier nails. As nails are primarily made of keratin, kale’s powerful antioxidant ingredients work to maximize the activation of keratin, resulting in nail growth and strength. Featuring a powerful resin complex, a UV filter, and a patented plasticizer, this formula leaves nails catwalk-inspired, chip-resistant, and healthy. 9 shades available.

Alexa Cashmere – a rich matte shade with glass pearls for a subtle sheen, in a mink colour way

Alexa Sequin – a fine particle black base with large particle gold sequins style glitters

 
Glouchester Walk – vivid purple

 
Alexa Cashmere – a nude pink with slight texture. It’s neat, but I almost always wear a top coat, so the texture gets lost with the top coat. It looks great as a base for glitter.
Glouchester Walk – rich, red-toned purple.
Alexa Sequin – a gorgeous black and gold glitter with different sizes of glitter.

I found the formula on these to be very easy to work with. I LOVE the huge brush (it’s like the newly reformulated NARS brush). I really like the bottle shape, too. It seems huge.

I also felt like these wore extremely well for me. I was able to go 4 days with minor tip wear. I like these three shades, especially the purple Glouchester Walk. I love the black and gold of Alexa Sequin on top of both colors. I think Alexa Sequin looks really fun on top of Alexa Cashmere. If you don’t like your glitter packed on heavily (say what?) just dab it on, then make sure you apply a top coat.

I hope that Nails Inc decides to expand the Nailkale line because the formula is great. I would love to see duochromes in this formula (but when don’t I want to see a duochrome?).

If you see a shade you like, I think you’ll love the formula for the Nails Inc Alexa Chung and Nailkale polish lines. I’m not sure how most people feel about the large brushes, but I’m seriously in love!
