Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation Swatches
The above photos were taken in indirect natural light. I was standing in the door of my bathroom with the door to the backyard open to allow in natural light.
I swatched the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation in the shades 10NN and 10CP. I also swatched the new Stay Naked concealer in the shades 10NN and 10CP for you. I compared them to some of my best foundation and concealer matches.
- Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation in 10NN & 10CP
- Urban Decay Stay Naked Concealer in 10NN & 10CP
- Milk Flex Foundation Stick in Porcelain
- Milk Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in Porcelain
- Milk Flex Concealer in Porcelain
- IDUN Minerals Nordic Veil Foundation in Jorunn
- Too Faced Born this Way Foundation in Cloud
- Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation in .1
- Cover FX Total Cover Cream in N0
I believe all the foundations and concealers swatched here are 100% vegan, according to their brands.
Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation in 10NN
Here is what Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation in 10NN looks like upon initial application. It looks flawless and beautiful. If only it lasted!
Unfortunately for me, as I mention in the video above, this foundation does not wear well on my 41 year old dry skin. It separates, emphasizes texture ALL OVER my face, settles into pores and fine lines, changes color, and just looks awful after about 4 hours. I’m so disappointed with it.
The Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation is definitely a miss for me and my dry skin! I do not recommend it if you have skin like mine.
So who is the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation for? I think it will work best for normal to oily skin, like 90% of what I see on the market right now. If you have this foundation and love it, let me know in the comments what your skin is like and how you wear it!

Hello Courtney,
I also got the 10NN and it`s a good match for my skin (I took swatches before). On its own the foundation was also too drying for my sensitive skin. But I could make it work with a hydrating primer. In my case that`s the Catrice Fresh it up Primer which is said tob a dupe of the Smashbox Primerizer but much cheaper.
Together with this primer, the foundation isn`t drying anymore and it lasts all day long.

I actually really love this foundation. With most of my foundations, I can’t wait to go straight home after work and wash my face. With this one I want to keep it on all day because it looks soo good. I’ve never had a foundation that doesn’t cake up or break apart, etc. AND THIS ONE DOESN’T DO THAT ON ME. I don’t care for the color range. There’s too much of a color jump in between 30 and 50. I bought 50 when I was tanner over the summer. the 40s don’t have my undertone. So I got the lighter shade for me in 30 and I have to fool with it a little…….so that’s a PAIN. Im still trying to see if all the finagling is worth it. Maybe I won’t have to fool with it as much the paler I get since fall/winter is coming. Anyways, I have combo/oily skin. Thanks for the review Courtney!
I have normal to dry skin and 38 yrs old so I think this would probably perform the same on me as it did on you! I will skip it, loved your review 🙂 xo
I’m glad you did this review b/c I’ve seen a few others on YT & I was actually hoping to get your take on it. I’ve got the same skin issues as you but with oily skin…and yes it is very frustrating. I’m 41 & I don’t think it’s got anything to do with age. I’m starting to think that it’s just the luck of the draw in this world. Definitely trial and error. Great review. Thanks for posting it!
I’m glad I got the sample card from them and saw how bad it looked on my skin. I usually like their foundations but this settled in my pores so badly I couldn’t wait to take it off.
