Manic Panic Jem and The Holograms Collection

Manic Panic Jem and The Holograms Collection

Just in time for the October 23rd, release of the Jem & the Holograms movie, Manic Panic is bringing you the Manic Panic Jem and The Holograms Collection. I remember watching the Jem & the Holograms cartoon (1985-1988) as a kid and lovin’ it. Nostalgia is hittin’ me hard, so I’ll be seeing this movie when it comes out too. Can’t help it!

Manic Panic Jem and The Holograms Collection

The collection from Manic Panic has 4 shades to represent the group of 80s rocker chicks – Jem, Kimber, Aja and Shana. (Strange but when I hear the name Kimber I always think of Nip Tuck these days.) The bottles have cool artwork to represent each of the 4 girls. I really love it!

Manic Panic Red Orange
Orange Red for Kimber, Jem’s younger sister, glows under blacklight.

Does anyone remember when Kimber and Stormer from the Misfits became friends? I can’t believe I remember it!

Manic Panic Turquoise
Turquoise for Aja, though I always thought of her hair as Midnight Blue
Manic Panic Violet
Violet for Shana

Manic Panic is cruelty free and vegan. I love that they decided to create a collection to go with this movie!

What do you think of it? Will you be seeing the movie? Will you try out any of the hair dyes? Let me know!

    1. Yes! The comic redesign of the cartoon works so well! I was really disappointed in their film concept, especially after seeing how a story revamp could actually be good.
