Japonesque Pixelated Purple Look

Japonesque Pixelated Purple Look

I have a Japonesque Pixelated purple look to share with you. I’ve done a few looks with this palette and this was from about 2 weeks ago, before I had my lash extensions installed. You can check out my review of the Japonesque Pixelated palette here. I created a fun, bright purple tutorial with this palette, too!

Buxom Gel Lipstick in Graphic Grape

I’m not a fan of the Buxom Gel Lipstick in Graphic Grape. I felt like the formula just wanted to slide all around and not stay on my lips. It emphasized lip lines, too. It is moisturizing, but it doesn’t work for me. Buxom calls the color a satin deep purple, but it looks like a plum shade to me. It’s pretty, but not what I consider a true deep purple. It has too much red.

The metallic silver in the Pixelated Palette is really pretty. I think it works well with the purples and teal. I might actually experiment with the copper shades at some point.

What do you think of silver and purple together?

  1. Thank you for another Japonesque look, this time using so many of the palette colors! I will give this or a modified version (maybe without the under eye color since I’m afraid to wear too much color) this weekend!
