Makeup Wars Blogger Enabled Beauty

Blogger Enabled Beauty

Happy Monday! Today I’ve got Makeup Wars Blogger Enabled Beauty to share with you. Many times I’m enabled by my fellow beauty bloggers to purchase a product because their reviews or swatches convince me that the beauty item is perfect for me. I’ve got a few examples of those items today to share with you.  Sometimes all it takes is seeing someone else’s swatches or the products in action in a tutorial for me to figure out that an item will work for me. Othertimes it takes an in-depth review or playing with the item in person.

Musings of a Muse – Tarte Aqualillies Palette
Izzy from Musings of a Muse has enabled me to make tons of beauty purchases over the past 6 years. The gorgeous LE Aqualillies palette was one of many and I’m glad I didn’t skip it. From the beautiful packaging to the gorgeous blush and eyeshadows, it’s really nice. See my review.

xSparkage – Sigma Beauty Creme de Couture Palette
I always find Leesha’s tutorials inspiring and her beautiful looks with this LE palette convinced me I needed it. I always like to have more mattes in my arsenal to combine with shimmery shades. See my review.

Shrinkle – Dose of Colors Glosses
I love following Shrinkle on Instagram to see bright, beautiful colors from both her own line – Sugarpill – and other fabulous up and coming lines like Dose of Colors. She turned me on to the Dose of Colors glosses (vegan and cruelty free). They’re ultra pigmented and a must have. See my review. Vegan.

Makeup Geek – Dose of Colors Lipsticks
I was on the fence about ordering the Dose of Colors Lipsticks and Marlena’s video helped convince me that yes, Love Potion is that perfect shade of pink for my skintone. See my review. Vegan.

xSparkage – bareMinerals Degrees of Dazzling
When I saw that the LE bareMinerals Degrees of Dazzling set was on sale for $49, I decided I had to have it. Leesha’s swatches sold me on how lovely the colors in the set would be. It’s a nice mix of different finishes. See my review.

Beauty Info Zone – Whip Hand Cosmetics Set the Stage Primer
When a few of my readers suggested I check out Whip Hand Cosmetics, I checked with my friends to see if they’d heard of the brand. Marcia said she liked their products and gave them rave reviews. See my review.

Beauty By Cat – Reviva Labs Alpa Lipoic Acid Vitamin C Ester & DMAE Cream
In my hunt for the perfect night cream, Cat recommended that I try this product from Reviva Labs. I like this product, but absolutely hate the packaging (and the crazy long name). If it was offered in an airless pump it would be much better. See my review.

Temptalia – bareMinerals Quads
When Christine from Temptalia reviewed the bareMinerals quads I was impressed by their pigmentation and smooth buttery texture. Her swatches convinced me to purchase a ton of them. See my reviews of The Afterparty, Wild Thing, The Elements, & The Next Big Thing.

I’ve also been enabled by some of my other beauty blogger and Makeup Wars friends including 15 Minute Beauty, My Beauty Bunny, Portrait of Mai, Logical HarmonyCinseven13, Genia Be Me, Vintage or Tacky, Clumps of Mascara, Gouldylox Reviews, Beauty & Fashion Tech, The Polishaholic, & Let Them Have Polish.

Who has enabled you to make beauty purchases recently? What have you picked up?
