Luxe List

Hello there, beauty lovers! It’s Jen from Raging Rouge, here to entertain you while Phyrra the fearless is recovering from her surgery. For your viewing pleasure today are some of my favorite mid to high end products that create a beautiful look from start to finish. I’m passionate about high-end cosmetics that provide both top-notch results and an overall luxurious experience. Every little detail matters to me, from packaging to the final result. The “Luxe List” contains only items that satisfy that criteria, and can be used as your guide for an end-to-end makeup look that is on-trend, first class, and free from animal testing!

Butter LONDON nail lacquer isn’t just three-free, but long-wearing! The brand has a zillion colors to select from, and Slapper is a great transitional shade of teal for winter/spring. Retail price $15.

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer delivers more coverage than many tinted moisturizers, but less than the average foundation. It’s the perfect pick for a more natural looking complexion, and has been a part of my routine ever since it launched in 2012. Retail price $43.

Lipstick Queen Sinner is simply a divine experience. Not only does it feel good to hold the tube, the formula housed inside is rich, creamy, and delivers the most incredible high-pigment color! Pink Sinner is a great selection for this time of year, but my personal all time favorite is Wine Sinner. Retail price $22.

CARGO Swimmables Eye Pencil is a new favorite of mine. I live in a world where water-proof makeup is always a good idea. These extremely color-rich eye pencils can endure a splash or two, so you don’t need to shy away from a refreshing dip in the pool. If little details matter to you, you’ll appreciate the old-world parchment paper feel of the box. Retail price $18.

Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Concealer has been a part of my routine since the Fall. This product gives great coverage, and has a tiny bit of orange undertone that cancels under eye darkness like a champ. Retail price $24.

Smashbox Fusion Softlights is another long-time favorite of this beauty blogger. This mosaic-styled product in the shade “Baked Starburst” swirls bronze, peach, and pink together to deliver a youthful, healthy glow. The finish plays magnificent games with the light. Retail price is $30.

Hourglass Cosmetics Modernist Eyeshadow Palette. I’ll confess I haven’t tried this new shadow palette yet, but had to include it in this guide anyway. Hourglass product is always top-notch, and based on what I’ve been reading this palette is a great addition to their product lineup. Mad props to Hourglass for creating makeup that truly looks like modern art. Retail price is $58.

  1. Love that Smashbox fusion softlights and the Lipstick Queen – but I would go for a marsala colour in the range. They look gorgeous. And I am a BIG fan of teal too.

  2. I love Butter London polishes – their formula is amazing! I keep telling myself I need to get one of those Hourglass Modernist palettes, in Exposure or Color Field, but the saner part of my brain keeps reminding me of palette overload LOL.

  3. I agree with @allisonneversaydiebeauty:disqus Allison, completely! Want them all!

  4. I’ll take one of each, please! I need to try Lipstick Queen for sure
