I’ll have a separate fashion post with more photos of the outfit. I was thrilled to finally have a great way to style the suspender skirt, but I do need to get it tailored to fit me as the straps are ridiculously long. The Lively Ghosts Red Latex Temptress Collar adds the perfect touch to my outfit.
I love the Betsey Johnson Black Graffiti Love Crossbody Heart Purse so much because of all the multi-colored hearts in shades of purple, pink, and red. It holds considerably more than I thought it would, which is great, because I normally find crossbody purses to be too small.
Makeup Talk
Below I’m sharing some makeup talk, not really makeup reviews, per se, but makeup musings.
My Eyelashes
I lost many of my eyelashes after my eye surgery, and I’ve had hair loss since my January 30th surgery. I recently started taking medication from my doctor to address the hair loss. Because of this, I don’t feel comfortable wearing any sort of lashes, not my beloved Velour Would I Lie?, nor my Velour cluster lashes. I’m using the Jane Iredale Lash Conditioner to help my lashes.
Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush
Until recently, I haven’t purchased anything from Too Faced Cosmetics since before the ‘Rich Lives Matter’ cake that the previous owners shared on social media. I bought 3 of the blush shades Candy Clouds (cool pink satin matte), Velvet Crush (peachy pink satin matte), and Watermelon Rain (muted fuchsia satin matte).
Candy Clouds is a beautiful cool-toned pink that is perfect for very fair cool toned skin. Velvet Crush is more of a ‘nude’ type blush on me. Watermelon Rain is a lovely bright pinky-red. I purchased Candy Clouds and Velvet Crush when they were 50% off from Ulta.
Too Faced Cloud Crush Blushes are available in 6 shades. When it comes to blushes, I’m on the hunt for my elusive perfect ‘nude’ blush, which is a light beige. The best color I’ve found for me was sadly discontinued, Colour Pop Matchmaker. Prior to that I used theBalm Balm Beach, which was also discontinued. So many pull pink or orange on me.
For my makeup looks I prefer to have a light cool-toned pink, my version of a ‘nude’ blush, and a cool-toned red. Those are my three must have blush shades.
ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray
Mickey recommended that I try the ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray as a new all over setting spray for my makeup. He was right! On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray is a game-changer and kept my makeup flawless all night.
Mickey recommends closing your eyes and spraying your entire face. You can use a little fan like I keep on my vanity to speed up the drying process. I don’t use this spray to spritz my eyeshadow brushes to intensify color; I still rely on Urban Decay All Nighter Spray for that!
Black Moon Armageddon Black Metals Liquid Lipstick
I was thrilled to get an email notification for the restock of Black Moon Armageddon Black Metals Liquid Lipstick! It’s my favorite red that Black Moon makes, although Deville and Sanguis are a close second and third! This stunning metallic red has flecks of copper and lavender to add dimension. It’s the beautiful lip color that I chose to wear when I was interviewed on tv by Gayle Guyardo as an Indie Makeup Expert.

Eyeshadow Musings
I love my metallic, shimmer and multichrome eyeshadows from Lethal Cosmetics! Bismuth and Dark Matter are shades that I was missing that I’m so glad to have! Dark Matter replaced Terra Moons Blood Moon for me.
Bismuth is in a league of its own! Bismuth is a beautiful ultra holographic silver with lots of sparkle and it draws your attention. It’s definitely the prettiest silver eyeshadow in my collection.
Healing Progression
I keep learning the hard way that healing is not linear. It’s lots of ups and downs. Last week, I felt better but this week I’ve been struggling with stomach issues and feeling hollow, so have barely done anything outside of work. Recovering from multiple surgeries is challenging. I’m glad that I’m starting physical therapy in only a few days as I know that will help get me back on track.
Final Thoughts
My weekend plans involve me taking it easy and hoping that I don’t have to see a doctor. I hope your weekend plans involve more fun!
