I have 1 shade from the collection to show you – No Whine Left. No Whine Left is a deep plum burgundy wine shade loaded up with tons of blue, aqua, fuchsia and purple hex glitters. It’s close to a crelly, which means a cream with jelly properties.

For the swatches above, I used 2 coats of No Whine Left and 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat.

I really love the the deep plum burgundy wine base shade. The glitters really compliment it!

The other shades in the collection are:

  • Teal Another Tail – dusty teal green with pink shift
  • Iris My Case – soft purple packed with glitters in pink, purple, white, periwinkle and blue.
  • Elle – pale grey jelly with pink, white and grey glitters
  • Shipwreck – deep blue green base with teals, blues, greens and purples glitters.
  • Clown Puke – glitters of all colors and sizes (glitter topper)
  • Band Geek – black jelly with silver, copper and gold glitters.
  • Berry Patch – creamy pink with blueberry, raspberry, holographic pink and micro strawberry red glitters.

Polish Pickup The One Soul

I also have the September Polish Pickup nail polish, KBShimmer The One Soul. This color has a muted mint green base that leans blue-grey with subtle sparkle and sparks of shimmery turquoise. It’s also a thermal shade, shifting to a deep midnight to near black depending on how cold your hands are.

When you buy this polish, it’s important to let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours to let the thermal powder recalibrate and best show the shift.

Thermal polishes have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months. They can lose their ability to change colors after that time.

For the swatches above, I used 2 coats of The One Soul and 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat.

The theme for the Polish Pickup this time around is Horror Movies, my favorite! Christy of KBShimmer picked Constantine (a movie I love because of the comics) for her horror movie. Constantine is plagued with the ability to see what is beyond the earth, into hell and see the half-demons and half-angels that are all around. The problem? Full-fledged demons are trying to break into earth along with the son of Lucifer. The One Soul is a nod towards Constantine’s soul, the only soul that Lucifer himself would come to collect.

I did take photos of The One Soul for you in various stages of hot and cold to show the thermal shift.

The One Soul is such a unique color! I really love it.

I don’t own a lot of thermals because my nails used to be too short to see a significant color change, but I may find myself trying a few more. I just love how unique this one is!

What do you think of the new KBShimmer Throwback Collection? Do you like the Polish Pickup KBShimmer The One Soul?
