I still have both my Cocoa Pink and Brija orders to review, but I couldn’t squeeze them in before the end of the month. My internet is currently out at my house because Frontier sucks. We were with Verizon but Verizon pulled out of our area of Florida, so we’re stuck with a network that can’t support its users. Hopefully by the time you read this I’ll have my internet restored.

 

This weekend, I did my patriotic duty and voted. My county had early voting open on Saturday morning, so we went in the afternoon. I think we only waited in line about 40 minutes. It was surprisingly busy.

I went to NecronomiCon on Saturday night and hung out with friends. I was hoping to see Steven Brust, but didn’t end up seeing him. I did get to see the gorgeous beach at night, my favorite.

 

Sunday I went to Ox & Fields for their Halloween Sushi event. My friend Viet is the chef and he had really cool Halloween themed sushi and drink options. If you follow me on Instagram / Instagram Stories I shared snippets of the event there.

Tonight, Ray and I plan to go out for our wedding anniversary. I’m not sure where we’ll end up, but it’s sure to be fun.

  5. Happy Anniversary Phyrra. I hope you enjoyed your night out.
    Halloween was fantastic fun for us this year. The whole township of Warrandyte, not far from us, was decorated and myself with my daughter in law, her family and my grandchildren Olivia and baby Lachlan dressed up and went trick or treating throughout the town. The lolly shop handed out free bags (little ones) of lollies to share. It started at about 5 pm and ended at about 9 pm. Olivia just adored being dressed up (she picked out a yellow and black costume) and she wore a sparkles in her hair and a bit of glitzy nail polish. At nearly 3 years of age she thought she was it and a bit. There were lots of people and the Fire brigade had a BBQ going. The township had lighted pumpkins along the main street. And fortunately, unlike last year, the temperature was just mild – last year it was SO hot.
