Garnier Greener Tour Event Recap

I had a fantastic time at the Garnier Greener Tour Event yesterday! I wanted to share a few photos with you from the event.

This was one of the many displays on the Garnier Greener Bus. The bus was glass and had displays of all the Garnier products. There were tv screens and testers. There was a very nice lady who was a part of the tour and was the educator on site. She explained the differences between recycling and upcycling and showed us examples of some of the cool things that the Greener Tour had upcycled. They turned some of the skincare containers into sunglass cases, makeup cases and more.

Recycling – chopping existing items into bits to ‘re-use’ to make new items.
Upcycling – is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products. (I’m mostly familiar with this term with clothing stores)

There were lovely cupcakes for the event!

A lovely shot of our Cult Nails! Maria and I are wearing Deal With It, Kimberly is wearing and Kari is wearing Untamed.  Genia, Judi, and Allie were at the event with us, too, as well as many of you! Over a hundred people turned out. I was very excited.

While I did use SPF 100 spray, I forgot to re-apply because I was so busy chatting with people. I’ve got a tiny sunburn that I’m treating with aloe.
