Fyrinnae Pressed Eyeshadow Review
Today I’m happy to show you some of the new Fyrinnae Pressed shadows. These things sell out super fast, like iPhones on launch day.
I did all of my swatches on bare skin with no primer.
Love Potion
Love Potion is a medium pink with a highlight of pale silvery-green shimmer (though the overall finish is more satin). Move it closer to light and you get a striking, almost metallic pink-coral.
My Take
Warm bubblegum pink coral
Meerkat
Vibrant pink-purple with a gold shimmer and sparkle highlight.
My Take
Purple with pink tones and gold shimmer.
Sleepy Hollow
Lush deep ocean blue with a flash of sage green as the light hits, and touch of gold sparkle as well.
My Take
Rich teal blue with green shimmer and gold sparkle.
Steampunk
This is an antiqued deep copper on black, with a touch of gold sparkle and hues of pink. Move it toward light or change the angle, and it becomes gold to chartreuse, the black base setting off the vivid highlight while still retaining its Victorian-era depth.
My Take
Deep copper with a black base and gold sparkle. You can see the pink fairly easily, too! Love it!
I really love these colors. They’re gorgeous.
I really love how you can clearly see the gold shimmer in Meerkat, the green hues in Sleepy Hollow, and the gold and copper glimmers in Steampunk.
Fyrinnae Pressed Shadows sell for $8.25 each.
They’re vegan and cruelty-free.
What do you think of the Fyrinnae pressed shadows? I’m in love with these shades! I can’t wait to try out Steampunk with Sleepy Hollow.
Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
Oh my goodness! I need steampunk right now!
Pretttyyy! Funny you mention Sleepy Hollow and Steampunk because those two are my favorites!
Meerkat is so gorgeous! I can’t remember if I have that in loose form or not. I’d also like to know how you feel about their pressed vs. loose formulas. I definitely need Meerkat in my life, in one form or another.
How do you think the pressed shadows compare in application/ consistency etc. to the loose? I have samples of the loose versions of Steampunk and Meerkat and I think? they look similar to your swatches of the pressed. I usually use those over pixie epoxy though so maybe that’s what is making them look slightly different?
These look great! Do you find Steampunk applies patchy? I’ve had this issue with other Fyrinnae colors that have black bases…I can rarely get it to look even on the lid, even patting the color on. Still, I think I am going to HAVE to pick up Steampunk, as well as Te Amo 🙂 Thanks for the swatches!
RealForUs7 I didn’t experience it being patchy at all. In fact I was pretty enchanted by it. I got it because I was like, well, it’s a blackened copper, I may or may not like it. But I find it so gorgeous.
