Femme Fatale Cosmetics Art of Witchcraft Mani

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Art of Witchcraft Mani

Happy Teal Thursday! I’ve got Femme Fatale Cosmetics Art of Witchcraft and Who is Fairest of Them All? to show you, plus a gorgeous Bunny Paige spiked heart. These lovely nail polishes are loosely inspired by the Brother Grimm’s Snow White. When I saw the Femme Fatale Cosmetics nail polish collection I ended up ordering the whole thing because the collection is made up of so many gorgeous shades. Art of Witchcraft (teal jelly), Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall (seafoam blue), Bodice Laces (purple), Glass Coffin (blue to purple thermal), Weed in Her Heart (teal), Who is the Fairest of Them All? (clear to pink thermal), and Poisoned Apple (teal). With so many teals, I had to have them all.

Art of Witchcraft is a teal blue jelly with red shimmer, teal blue and maroon microglitters that is really mesmerizing on the nails.

Who is Fairest of them All? is a clear (warm) to pink (cold) thermal with strong blue shimmer and silver holographic microglitters – frosty yet beautiful! On me it doesn’t ever go fully clear, but is either an icy pink or a light pink.

Mini Pavèd & Spiked Paradise Heart Necklace Paradise crystals have a gorgeous color shifting effect that show off beautiful shades of lilac, blue, & green.

Teal Fitbit

I also have to show you the Teal Fitbit. A friend of mine just bought this and said I needed to include it in my next Teal Thursday. Ray and I keep thinking about getting a fitbit but haven’t bit the bullet yet to do that. Do you have a fitbit? How do you use it?

What’s on your nails right now?

  1. I’m loving this color! 😀 This would be perfect for me and my Bestie 🙂

  2. This is one seriously stunning, mani! The polish looks amazing next to your pendant!

  3. I have a FitBit One – it’s tiny and goes into a silicone clip-on holder, and also has a neoprene wrist band for holding it while you sleep. I got that model because I don’t like ones that have to be worn on the wrist all the time.

The app/website allows you to input your activities other than steps (e.g., a workout) and your food intake. And it monitors your sleep, starting from when you push the button telling it you’re going to sleep and ending when you push it again to tell it you’ve woken up. (Yes, you can input or amend the times manually if you forget to push the button!) It calculates your calories burnt based on your activity and your personal profile and compares that to intake for you. There’s also an option to work out meal plans if you’re trying to lose weight.

I really like it. I find the way that the website organises all the info makes it easy for me to track patterns in my sleep, activity level, and food intake, and tweak what I’m doing where necessary. I’m not using it for anything complex like heart rate; I just find the general tracking functions super useful, because it’s next to impossible to keep track of all those variables on my own, nvm looking at correlations, etc!

Your mani is gorgeous, and the Crystal Paradise heart has finally poked me into ordering one of those necklaces. Good thing yesterday was payday!

  4. Stunning mani. I have been thinking about FitBit but since Apple Watch has similar functionality, I may just go w/the latter

  5. Just a note about the teal Fitbit. It’s super pretty but it also picks up dirty like crazy! It’s possible because I work in a lab and wash my hands once an hour and keep the band clean with ethanol I damaged it but for me I was bothered by the dingy look and changed to the deep indigo band.

  6. Amazing polishes, and I have been pondering a FitBit for awhile now, as well, but I use my cell phone to track my steps, and it works really great too! 🙂

  7. Both of these nail polishes look so pretty 🙂
I have been thinking about buying Fitbit or something similar, but I just can’t make up my mind which one of those many fitness trackers would be the best for me.

  8. I have the fit bit Charge. My hubby bought it as a christmas present. I was having a hard time sleeping and he thought it would be helpful to track my sleep. It tracks (in general) by arm movement so it can give readings that I’m not sure I can trust. For instance, if I’m laying bed watching tv and I’m still, it thinks I’m sleeping. I don’t know how it knows I’m laying down though! I sometimes have issues getting it to link to my laptop as well. I have the button that plugs into my usb but it doesn’t always auto sync which I find really frustrating (I have to use my phone app to get it to sync). I also find the one that I have without the buckle type band is easily caught on things and it comes right off. (yesterday, onto a public bathroom floor ) EWWWH. One more thing… if it gets wet under the band, I break out 🙁 Hope this helps you decide. Given what I know now? I might just wait to take a look at the Apple version that I believe might be better thought out and more accurate. Depends on what you really need it for I suppose.

    1. Thanks for letting me know! I’m not an Apple fan, so I would hesitate to get that. I want something for monitoring my heart rate while I work out and while I sleep.

      1. Research which fit bit products have heart rate and also the other features you might like before jumping in. There is only a couple and the flex is not one of them. I don’t know how many come in teal, it might be unique to the flex? Good luck. There is the android one, have you checked it out yet? Good luck what ever you decide.
