Today I’ve got the Darling Girl Wonder Wands to show you! These are a crease resistant cream formula that dries to a powder finish. DG recommends that you use an eyeshadow primer before use. I always advocate the use of eye primer because it makes your eyeshadows apply easier, blend better, makes them more true-to-color, last longer and and resists creasing. Of course, if you have oily or hooded eyes (or you’re like me and have both), eyeshadow primer is a must!

Wonder Wand cream shadows are as crease-resistant and once set are pretty budge proof! Use of your preferred eye shadow primer is still highly recommended.
- Apply with the doe foot applicator.
- Blend out with a flat paddle brush.

Row 1 – Serpentine – She’s so Violet – Honey Cake – Bee’s Knees
Row 2 – Saucy Minx – Princess Bubblegum – Ms Muffett – Naughty Olive
After wearing these, here’s how I find they wear best. Apply your eyeshadow primer as normal. Put down a powder eyeshadow first, then tap a wonder wand on top. It takes a bit to dry, but once it dries it lasted for 6 hours for me. If you lay down an eyeshadow similar to the base shade (like the grey of Serpentine) on the lid and crease, Serpentine will brighten the eye with its turquoise shift.
Overall, I think these are really fun and pretty. Serpentine is of course my favorite, but I’m also a fan of She’s So Violet, Bee’s Knees and Saucy Minx.
