Wearing Dose of Colors Purple Fusion Gloss

Saturday night opted for a very simple look and made the focus of my look Dose of Colors Purple Fusion Gloss. It was my friend’s birthday, so we went out to Cigar City Brewery to start the night before heading to a pool party. Purple Fusion a really lovely gloss and it was my first time wearing it. It’s not sticky, but it’s very shiny, pigmented and smooth. It didn’t migrate on me. The gloss lasted on me for 3 hours before I had dinner and then it was gone. It left a slight purple stain on the lips after dinner.

Dose of Colors Purple Fusion Gloss Lip Swatch

My makeup held up well until I hit the hot tub. Then I had a bit of smudging and transfer from the mascara onto my browbone.

I have another color from Dose of Colors to test called Burning Love, which is a bright glossy red.

I’m long overdue for a hair cut and getting my brows waxed, so hopefully I’ll have time to get that done this week!

  1. I placed an order with Dose of Colors and NEVER RECEIVED IT! I made several attempts to contact the company that went unanswered and BLATANTLY IGNORED. There is no phone number (the phone number on your credit card is “not in service”, no email, other than the “contact us” area on their website. I tried inquiring on their Instagram account since I know they update it regularly and my comments were DELETED!!
    SHADY if you ask me! Bad business and Customer Service (NONE).

  3. autumntrinity They’re a cruelty free company in LA. The owner is friends with Amy (Sugarpill), which is how I saw them 🙂 That’s why I took a chance and placed an order. I really like how pigmented and smooth the colors are for the two glosses that I own.

  4. sometimes you look so ethereal, like a fairytale with that perfect porcelain skin and delicate features… you are just drop dead gorgeous in this look!!
