Creative Color with Pravana by Christian
Below are Christian’s recent favorites and his thoughts.
Pravana Purple and Silver
Alex wanted a dramatic change with her hair. She had never used Pravana Vivids, nor had she ever gone silver. Together we decided to give her a combination of silver and purple. First I created the silver base in her hair. Then I balayaged Pravana Purple Pravana Locked In so it wouldn’t bleed on to the silver. The results were icy and stunning!
Pravana Green and Emerald
Katie comes in every 8 weeks to refresh her Pravana Vivids color. We always change the formula a bit. This time we used Pravana’s new Emerald Jewel Toned Vivid in combination with the other greens and teals to make something customized to what she wanted. She even glows under a black light which is pretty neat.
This guest of mine wanted to be super blonde, as blonde as Khaleesi from Game of Thrones. I also wanted to give her a classic styled look after the color since we usually always resort to straightening or curls. I did some Lana Del Rey dry finger waves with a curling iron. I was really happy with the results and she’s super gorgeous as it is, so she accentuated the hair.
Pravana Wild Orchid and Hot Pink Pixelated
Kayla is one of my models I usually photograph. She always lets me experiment on her with color. This time I wanted to learn the pixel technique so I collaborated with my coworker OZ to show me how to do it. The Pravana Hot Pink and Wild Orchid color mixture is by me, and the pixels are by OZ.
