I’ve got to say, this is the best drugstore foundation that I’ve tried in the past 10 years. It’s still not perfect, but it has a lot of things going for it. It’s cruelty free. It actually matches my pale skin. It has better than average wear time with setting powder. I believe it would last longer with primer.
Have you tried the Burt’s Bees BB Cream? Let me know what you think of my results below!
Great vid! I think that for the price it could be a really great pick for someone who wants a good drugstore BB that works and provides medium coverage, and has drier skin. I’m glad you reviewed this, I have a friend who this would be perfect for, she has very dry skin, needs coverage on redness, but can’t spend very much as of now. She is the friend I mentioned that I did a makeup tutorial for her graduation, and gifted her some of my minis, like Cover FX’s Illuminating Primer/TF Shadow Insurance as I have a full size and I gifted her my ETUDE palette, and a big BTS mascara from that HSN special because I don’t like it but it’s perf on her she’s so sensitive and has beautiful really small blue eyes and she loved it so much, and it will last her forever,(the Etude that is) and I think this will be really moisturizing for her-I love that BB’s is expanding it’s line, making cruelty free beauty available and accessible in the grocery store, at Target etc, they have full coverage lipstick now as well!
Hey hey!
I have slightly sensitive and oily skin, which means that anything a bit more moisturising or heavier, I break out from. To give you an idea, Nivea’s men’s aftershave for sensitive skin is moisturising enough for me for the night, haha. Would you say that this is suitable (well, as suitable as cosmetics are for my face), especially in very warm weather?
Thanks in advance! <3
Hi Lana! I think this would be way too moisturizing for oily skin. It’s very moisturizing for my dry skin, and I suspect that the reason it came off of my nose and inner cheek area is because I might be slightly oily in those spots and didn’t realize it. You might be able to use it if you also used a primer + setting powder + setting spray, but even then I’m not 100% sure.
