Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops
I’m a Cover FX Brand Ambassador and this is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cover FX. The opinions and text are all mine. Today I want to introduce you to the newly released Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops. These are the perfect pairing with Custom Cover Drops and your favorite skincare products. There are 4 different infusion drops – A + Jasmine for Anti-Aging, C + Lemongrass for Radiance, F + Neroli for Hydration and E + Chamomile for Calming. As I’m sure you can guess, especially with the month I’ve had with my rosacea, I am all about the E + Chamomile Calming Drops.

Cover FX A+ Jasmine: Anti-Aging Custom Infusion Drops

A+ Jasmine: Anti-Aging Custom Infusion Drops
Benefits

  • Vitamin A – supports natural cell turnover and helps visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Jasmine Oil – boosts skin hydration
  • Avocado Oil – nourish and hydrate the skin
  • Grape Seed Oil – nourishes and protects against premature aging
  • For Normal to Dry Skin concerned with fine lines, wrinkles, singles of aging.

This smells like jasmine and is the best smelling of the 4. I really love how jasmine smells and it’s soft, not overpowering. I also love that it has avocado and grape seed oil (in addition to the Vit A) as those are 2 great ingredients for skincare. This is really perfect for an addition to your nighttime skincare, in my opinion.

C+ Lemongrass: Radiance Custom Infusion Drops

  • For Combo to Dry Skin concerned with dullness, uneven skintone, dark spots.

I’m a fan of lemongrass and this smells so nice. I absolutely love Vit C products so once my skin has calmed down I’m going to experiment with using this during the day, most likely mixing it in with a serum before I put on my Moisturizer with SPF.

This has a very light scent and feels good on the face. It’s perfect for when your skin is super dry, like during the winter.

I love love love how chamomile smells and this is no exception. It feels wonderful on my skin. This gives me enough hydration and is so soothing, I’ve been using it during the day, before makeup, and sometimes at night.

Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops and Cover Drops

Cover FX is really innovating this year with their custom cover drops and now their custom infusion drops. You can mix both of these with skincare products, foundations, primers, sunscreens, whatever you want. You can also put the infusion drops in with your custom cover drops and foundation. The Custom Infusion Drops packaging is very similar to the Custom Cover Drops, so it’s a glass container with a dropper to let you control the amount of product you want dispensed. I think it’s nice and neat. (See more of how to DIY your Foundation here and here)

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate with E+ Chamomile: Calming Custom Infusion Drops

My skin has been problematic lately and the E + Chamomile has been a life saver for me. I’ve started mixing it in with my skincare products. It’s AMAZING with Embryolisse. I’ve also used the A + Jasmine with my night time skincare routine.

Foundation Combo

Yesterday was the first day in two weeks that I felt like my skin looked gorgeous. Before applying makeup I mixed Embryolisse with E + Chamomile and put that on my face, letting it sink in for about 15 minutes.

Then I mixed together a drop of E + Chamomile, 2 drops of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in N10, Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint in Light and Cover FX Illuminating Primer. I put it on with my fingers, then used a makeup sponge to finish the blending. I used a touch of Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral under the eyes and around the face where I needed a bit more coverage. (see the After picture below)

My Naked Face Before
My Bare Face

Here’s my bare face. I didn’t retouch this at all. It’s got far less redness than it’s had in 2 weeks. I’ve been using Embryolisse with E + Chamomile and Paula’s Choice skincare. You can see that I still have some zits on my face from the rosacea. I took this picture after applying the Embryolisse mixed with E + Chamomile. I don’t really have any redness on my forehead. I do have some redness on my cheeks, chin and nose.

After applying makeup

This picture hasn’t been retouched in any way. This is what my skin really looks like with the makeup on. I didn’t edit out the zits, which I will normally do. I didn’t fix the darkness at the inner bridge of the nose. I probably should have used a drop of Life’s Entropy White foundation Elixir because this mix is slightly dark, but this is the best my skin has looked in weeks.

Before and After with Cover FX
Before and After with Cover FX – Behold the Power of Makeup

I personally feel like Custom Infusion Drops mix the best with skincare and primer. When you’re mixing it with foundation, it’s going to make it a little more liquidy than you might expect (even one drop), so be prepared for that. Aside from that, I really love how these concentrated serums are nourishing and good for the skin. I’ve really gotten into oils in the past year because I think they work well with my sensitive, finicky skin. The Custom Infusion Drops are great to add to my skincare arsenal.

  1. These sound really interesting, especially the ones for anti-aging and radiance.

  2. Your skin looks awesome. I’m impressed. The Neroli one is the only one I could probably use (fragrance wise) and if it’s great on dry skin then I will consider this for winter.

  3. What a great idea! How to cool to be able to customize the skincare properties of your foundation, face cream, etc. as needed.

  4. I wish Embryolisse had a fragrance free option. I am so sensitive to just about anything labeled ‘parfum’ or ‘fragrance.’ It makes me bonkers when companies put fragrance in something that I am going to use all over my face and right up under my nose. Don’t they realize that lots of consumers have allergies or asthma? Ah well, fortunately there are enough brands out there that I can use. Those Infusion Drops look intriguing. I may have to check them out.

    1. Embryolisse is one of the few products that has a fragrance that doesn’t irritate my skin, even when it’s at its worst. Normally when I try a product and break out, it’s due to fragrance. I can totally relate!

  5. OMG, you know me and beauty oils and the color purple– so I am fairly certain that you did this post to make me what everything! You succeeded! GORGEOUS FOTD, btw! <3

  6. Amazing!! Your skin looks perfect. I have rosacea as well and have been using CeraVe (cream, in the tub), but have always wanted to try Embryolisse. Maybe my next skincare splurge will be that and the CoverFX chamomile drops.

    1. Thank you so much! I never feel like my skin looks perfect (you saw my before shot), but I feel like the foundation combo makes it look really gorgeous. I hope you love the Chamomile drops!

  7. At some point, I’ll pick up the anti-aging drops. It’s a great idea
