I’ve tried several primers and moisturizers meant for sensitive skin. I’ve tried green primers and green moisturizers (prescription from my dermatologist), which I felt did nothing to minimize my redness. Green is, in theory, supposed to cancel out redness. I’ve never had it work for me with a green primer or a green moisturizer.
That said, this Calming Primer actually does what it claims to do for my skin. It’s soothing to apply. Once it’s on, I can apply my setting powder or foundation as normal. It helps my foundation to apply more smoothly and extends the life of my foundation.
If you’re looking for a primer that works well with sensitive skin, you should check out the Calming Primer from Cover FX.

What’s your favorite primer?
I’ll have to check this out for my sensitive skin. I don’t wear primer a lot, but it would be nice to have some that does double-duty.
I just picked up the one for acne/blemish prone skin, will have to check this one out next, maybe get a sample.
Phyrra!!! That first makeup look, girl yaaaasss! I love that it makes me want to look at your facial features instead of just pinpointing areas. Like your hair, your eyes your lips pulls all together very well. Loves it.
Thank you!
