Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Today I’m sharing a ton of Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows, some Super Shock eyeshadows and lip products with you. I have quite a large collection of Colour Pop and I keep amassing more, so I need to swatch and use them. I’ve bought them over the past few months.

Colour Pop is available at ColourPop.com.

My Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows – the singles.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows – the Weekend Warrior palette. This palette is a collaboration with Amanda Steele.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

For these swatches I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Fire Fly
pale beige matte
Fire fly is a pale beige with a slight pink undertone matte. It makes a great base shade or matte highlight.

Throttle (Weekend Warrior palette)
pale pink satin
Throttle is a pale pinky beige satin. It’s a pretty highlight color.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Bel Air
cool taupe matte
Cool brown taupe matte. Bel Air is a good transition shade.

Harley (Weekend Warrior palette)
cool grey matte
Cool grey with almost purple tones matte. I love Harley.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Take the Lead
dusty medium grey
Midtone grey matte. I like Take the Lead for a simple smoky dome shape.

Burnout (Weekend Warrior palette)
deepened teal matte
Deepened grey with greenish undertones matte. I was disappointed with this color. There’s not enough teal in it.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Made to Last
neutral mauve matte
Pink taupe matte. This looks very similar to Urban Decay Laced. Made to Last is a great transition shade on me.

Chopper (Weekend Warrior palette)
deepened purple matte
Dark plum brown matte. I found this shade disappointing.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Goody Two-Shoes
metallic gunmetal
Beautiful metallic gunmetal grey. I love this color so much!

Wake Up Call
warm sand matte
Warm light brown with peach undertones matte.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Come and Get It
duochrome rose with a gold flip
Rose pink with golden iridescence. Come and Get It is truly a beautiful rose gold. I think it’s great any time of year.

Wait for It
hot peach matte
Bright peach matte. Wait for It is a super juicy shade! It’s perfect for Spring and Summer.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Making Moves
hot coral matte
Gorgeous bright true coral. Making Moves screams Summer to me. (Keep Summer safe!)

Stay Golden
raspberry matte
Rich raspberry red matte. I feel like Stay Golden is beautiful year round. In the Fall it’s perfect if you want to be an Autumn Goddess. In the Spring you can combine it with Making Moves for a tropical look.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Paper Tiger
mustard matte
Bright mustard yellow matte. You can definitely do some exciting looks with Paper Tiger as the focus.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Row 1 – Goody Two-Shoes – Made to Last – Take the Lead – Bel Air – Fire Fly
Row 2 – Wake Up Call – Chopper – Burnout – Harley – Throttle

The Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows swatched above all look pretty cool toned, which I adore. While I’m not thrilled with Chopper and Burnout, I think the rest are great. Goody Two-Shoes is especially nice. I think it makes a nice affordable dupe for Melt Gunmetal. It’s not prone to glitter fallout like the Melt eyeshadow.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows Swatches

Row 1 – Paper Tiger – Making Moves – Come and Get It
Row 2 – primer – Stay Golden – Wait For It

These of Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows are my tropical shades. They make me think of birds of paradise flowers. If you like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance but didn’t want to buy the whole palette, these 5 shades would be great to fill that niche.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Row 1 – Paper Tiger – Making Moves – Come and Get It – Goody Two-Shoes – Made to Last – Take the Lead- Bel Air – Fire Fly
Row 2 – primer – Stay Golden – Wait for It – Wake Up Call – Chopper – Burnout – Harley – Throttle

The Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows seem to be heavy on the warm mattes. I picked up most of the cool toned shades. There’s no real purple or blue. Backseat (metallic aquamarine) does look promising though! I hope they decide to release some cool toned purples, teals, blues and pinks.

Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadows

Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadows Swatches

I swatched these on bare skin.

Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadows Swatches

Catnap
icy rose gold drizzled with pink and silver glitter
Metallic rose gold with brown undertones and pink and silver glitter. It’s so pretty and for a good cause. All proceeds from the sale of “Cat Nap” will be donated to Best Friends Animal Society(R) and their NKLA effort to Save Them All.

Ignition
glitter lavender
Pretty soft lavender purple with glitter. I love Ignition and I need to try it on top of Chopper.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Weenie
true metallic rose gold
Beautiful metallic rose gold. It’s so delicate and feminine. It’s a perfect lid color.

Hydroplane
glitter teal
Bright teal with glitter. I need to try this layered on top of Burnout to see if that makes me like Burnout better.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Kathleenlights (KathleenLights Set)
bright golden copper
Pretty metallic copper base with golden shift. This is a lovely lid shade.

Game Face
an ultra-metallic intense penny copper
Rich metallic deep copper.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Glow (KathleenLights Set)
matte creamy vanilla
Creamy vanilla matte. Glow is  great base shade or highlighter.

Blaze (KathleenLights Set)
coco bronze sprinkled with multi-dimensional glitter
Deep bronzey brown with gold glitter.

Colour Pop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows

Wattles
dusty satin beige pink
Dusty pink beige satin. Wattles is a great transition shade on pale and light skin. Try it with pinks, reds, and purples.

Cornelius (KathleenLights Set)
matte warm caramel
Warm caramel brown matte.

Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadows Swatches

Row 1 – Wattles – Glow – Kathleenlights – Weenie – Catnap
Row 2 – Cornelius – Blaze – Game Face – Hydroplane – Ignition

This is a random assortment of Super Shock Eyeshadows that go with my Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows. I love the top row. Ignition and Hydroplane were much prettier in person than I anticipated. I was sad that my Ignition arrived shattered. I pressed it back together.

Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lips, Lippie Stix, Lippie Pencil, and Gel Pencil Liner

Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lips

Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lips

Row 1 – Alyssa – Echo Park – Bijou – Baewatch – Date Mate – Best O
Row 2 – Aquarius

Alyssa (Ultra Satin Lip)
muted pink
Alyssa is a pinky nude.

Echo (Ultra Satin Lip)
warm peachy nude
Echo is a warm peachy brown. I think the formula in mine is bad because it’s really runny.

Bijou (Ultra Satin Lip)
dusty orchid
Bijou is a pretty orchid violet.

Baewatch (Lippie Stix)
matte dusty rose
Baewatch is a gorgeous deep dusty rose.

Date Mate (Lippie Stix)
vibrant cool-toned fuchsia
Date Mate is a beautiful bright fuchsia.

Aquarius (Lippie Pencil)
soft pinky nude
Aquarius is the perfect pinky nude pencil. This will work with so many different lipstick colors.

Best O (Gel Pencil Liner)
deepened burgundy
Best O is a deep burgundy brown. I wish it was a true burgundy or a burgundy wine. I hate the brown tones in it.

I really love the Ultra Satin Lip formula. Of all the lip products that Colour Pop makes, I think it’s the best. It’s very comfortable to wear. I can’t believe that they discontinued Marshmallow, which was my favorite!

I love the Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows formula. I’m happy with the singles I got. With the Weekend Warrior palette, I like the light half of the shades but not the dark half, so I wouldn’t recommend that palette.

If you’re looking to pick up some new singles I think the Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows or the super shock eyeshadows are a good choice. Between the two you have just about every eyeshadow finish you could want – from matte to glitter. If you’re looking to narrow it down, try putting together 4 or 5 colors to create a set.

  • Highlight – Glow, Fire Fly or Throttle
  • Transition – Bel Air, Harley, Take the Lead, Made to Last, Wake Up Call, Wattles, Cornelius
  • Lid or Focus – Paper Tiger, Stay Golden, Making Moves, Come and Get It, Goody Two-Shoes, Catnap, Ignition, Weenie, Hydroplane, Kathleenlights, Game Face
  • Liner – Burnout, Chopper, Blaze

On my pale skin, shades like Wattles, Made to Last, Harley and Take the Lead look especially good as transitional colors. Or you can opt to turn these shades into a simple smoky dome shape on hooded eyes (think like a wash of color on the lid and crease). I personally love shades like Come and Get It, Catnap, Kathleenlights, and Weenie as lid or inner lid colors. Maybe I need to dedicate one day a week to Colour Pop looks and tutorials. I have so many Colour Pop eyeshadows! It would be nice to use some of them up.

What do you think of the Colour Pop pressed powder eyeshadows? How would you combine these colors?

  1. I love Colourpop so much. I’m so happy they came out with pressed shadows! Paper Tiger is such a cool shade. I need to pick up some more of the Super Shock shadows ASAP!

  2. I already got some pressed shadows, but after these swatches, I may need some more.

  3. Hi! How do you compare Come and get it vs. Makeup geek Mai tai? I want to get either, thanks so much!

  4. The Bijou lippy looks like one I would love. I haven’t done much shopping lately but didn’t pick up the CP pressed shadows because I just wasn’t sure how I’d like them. They are really pretty though.

  5. Come and Get It is a shade I would love to own. I don’t get a lot of use from my Color Shock shadows because the ones I’m attracted to end up too glittery once on me. I haven’t seen the new pressed powder swatches so I’m particularly glad you swatched these.
