Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks
I wanted to share swatches and thoughts on my Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks, plus discuss the best liquid lipstick formulas. I believe I found Black Moon Cosmetics through Instagram when I was looking at gorgeous makeup photos. Originally I bought 2 of their eye dusts and one liquid lipstick. Recently I bought several more of their liquid lipsticks and during my Black Friday & Cyber Monday hauls I bought a few more.
Black Moon Cosmetics are available at BlackMooncosmetics.com.
The eyeshadows are $19 each and the liquid lipsticks are $18 each. Black Moon Cosmetics is cruelty free and vegan.
Wearing Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks
I absolutely love Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Genie. It’s the perfect bright for Spring and Summer.
I forgot to snap a photo of Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Immortal without Luna on it. It’s a beautiful color but would benefit from a purple lip pencil beneath it. It’s a very warm purple that is perfect for Fall or Winter.
Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Abyss is the consummate burgundy for any time of year, in my humble opinion.
Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Gloom is a lovely nude shade for my pale skin.
Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Eternal is unique in my makeup collection. The metallic tone and multidimensional pearls make it a standout shade. Love it!

Row 2 – Cosmos, Asteroid
Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks Thoughts
Gloom – is the perfect “greige” nude with gray, beige, and the tiniest touch of pink that works on all skin tones!
Gloom looks like a greyed peachy nude on me.
Eternal – a blackened rose gold with hues of gold, pink, and baby purple reflective pearls for intense, multi-dimensional, and stunning shine.
I love Eternal! It’s so stunning. In the photo above I layered it on top of Hex pencil.
Abyss – A devlishly deep wine based burgundy
Abyss looks like a deep burgundy on me. It’s hard to get it perfectly even.
Immortal – a blackened purple with flecks of purple and arctic blue.
Immortal is a warm purple with pretty shimmer. It was a bit patchy for me.
Genie – a stunning combination of magenta and fuchsia for the base with fine quality cool purple pearls for a brilliant iridescent shine!
Genie is a gorgeous fuchsia with hint of purple pearls.
Luna – was created to pack an ethereal punch with her multidimensional reflective pearls. This unique formula pushes and pulls different colors creating a dancing holographic effect even in the darkest room. (lipstick topper)
I love Luna! It’s such a pretty topper.
Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Eyeshadows
Cosmos – a carbon black base with gold, purple, and pink reflective pearls. (eyeshadow)
Asteroid – a carbon black base with sapphire blue reflective pearls. (eyeshadow)
I find both of the eyeshadows work best when layered on top of a base, especially a black base.
Yesterday my Ghost, Libra and Selene liquid lipsticks along with Moon Rocks liquid eyeshadow arrived, so I’ll have them swatched for you soon.
What is the Best Liquid Lipstick Formula?
Now, people often ask me what the best liquid lipstick formula is. For me, it’s one that doesn’t dry my lips out and make them peel off. The best formula for my unique body chemistry is Sugarpill’s Liquid Lipsticks. Jouer Liquid Lipsticks are second and Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks are a close third. Of the three, Black Moon currently has the best color range, but Sugarpill is catching up with their latest release of all the liquid lipstick shades. I can safely wear the three of these liquid lipstick brands daily without causing my lips to dry out.
