Best 10 Cruelty-Free Summer Products

Top 10 Cruelty Free Summer Beauty Products

Hi there! Today I’ve got my Best 10 Cruelty-Free Summer Beauty Product Picks to share with you, in no particular order.

1. Jesse’s Girl Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
You can check out my review of this awesome waterproof black eyeliner here. The tip is very fine, like a calligraphy pen and can be used to draw the most precise lines or very thick ones. It will last and last! I wore it to a pool party and the steam didn’t faze it. It won’t melt off in the humid heat of Summer.

2. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Shadow Pencils
You can see my review of these long-wearing, pigment punching eyeshadow pencils. Noise and Mushroom are the two newest additions, and they come in several other eye catching colors including gold, bright turquoise and deep purple. These will stay in place all day even in the Florida weather.

3. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Stained Glosses
These long anticipated stained glosses are awesome on their own, mixed with other lip tars, or layered on top of other products. Since they leave a stain behind, you’ll get hours of wear. See my review.

4. Paula’s Choice Barely There Sheer Matte Tint SPF 30
This provides me with the perfect amount of coverage on my face. I can wear it on its own, layered under a setting powder, or with a powder foundation. No matter how I wear it, it looks great. It has SPF 30, so it’s great for the fierce Summer sun. I still typically use it with another sunscreen. See my review.

5. Stila After Glow Lip Color
I love love love these lip pencils! I feel like they’re very moisturizing and I love their texture and stain. You’ll get hours of wear out of these because of their stain. See my review.

6. NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder
I fell in love with this setting powder months ago and it’s perfect for the Summer weather. It’s something you can wear without it feeling hot and heavy on your skin. See my review.

7. Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Wish
Okay, okay, Kat Von D Everlasting Blush comes in a variety of colors, but Wish is my favorite. It’s a nude peach. I find it to a no-fuss shade for Summer and easy to wear.

8. PCA Skin Weightless Protection SPF 45
I really love the PCA Skin line, though I’ve only known about it for about 2 and a half months. I’ve tried several of their products but this one is my favorite. I love the high SPF and the fact that it doesn’t burn my eyes, no matter if I sweat when I’m wearing it or not. Sometimes sunscreens will run in my eyes and burn unless I’m wearing eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow. This doesn’t have that issue and that’s just one of the many reasons that I love it.

9. Supergoop! SPF 30+ UVA / UVB MintFusion Lip Balm & AcaiFusion Lip Balm
I’ve tried both MintFusion (clear) and AcaiFusion (tinted) lip balms by Supergoop and I love how quickly they absorb into the lips. They keep my lips well moisturized and protected from the harsh summer rays.

10. Supergoop Antioxidant-Infused Sunscreen Mist With Vitamin C SPF 50
I can’t wait to get my hands on this. I love a good mist sunscreen. This comes in both a 3oz and 6 oz size. Both are easy to toss into a purse and take with you to the beach or amusement park. The trick with a good mist sunscreen is to spray yourself down and then make sure you rub it in with your hands.

  1. Thank you for continuing to feature cruelty-free products. I don’t think people realize how many of the “major” brands are not animal-friendly.

    1. HobbyLobbyist1 You’re welcome! I know I didn’t realize it until I started digging. I swear there was some tv campaign in the 90s that convinced people there was no more testing.

      1. Phyrra HobbyLobbyist1 I think I saw the same campaign and believed it too! It wasn’t until I started reading make-up blogs that I heard about the testing requirements in China and how the US companies have quietly changed their stance.

        1. HobbyLobbyist1 Yeah, MAC was the catalyst for me. I always bought MAC and remembered them saying it was cruelty-free. They changed last year.

  2. I don’t know what I would do without the UD 24 hour pencils.  And LOVE the graphic!!

  3. LOVE the graphic! UD pencils, OCC tars and Supergoops I second. How’s the Jessie’s Girl liner compare to UD 24/7? Anyone have an opinion on that?

    1. Emily NA I have both. Both are great products. However, the Jesse’s girl has a calligraphy brush tip. Both are waterproof and long lasting. Jesse’s Girl is less expensive.

  4. Great list! I haven’t tried those lip colors from Stila yet but I think I really need to.

    1. BeautyBlogger Yes you need to! Mixing the pink and purple makes the PERFECT sort of color for my taste, too.

  5. Thank you for this post!  I find it difficult to keep cruelty free products separated from others.  This is a great list of practical items.

  6. You are really making me want to investigate Supergoop!  I totally need to check out that PC Tinted moisturizer, too!

  7. thank you for posting this! its nice to know the companies that are honest. i really want to try that jesse’s girl brand!! all the colours are so beautiful but i’ve never seen it in stores near me

    1. DevinMacmahon You can order them online from Jesse’s Girl website and get free shipping if you spend over $20.

  8. I LOVE the supergoop sunscreen mist!  It’s so nice!  Now you have me craving that Paula’s Choice TM. I will have to check that out for sure!

  9. I’m going Supergoop shopping after reading lists and last week’s Makeup Wars. I just have one of their products but I need more. And it’s time to pull out my UD Shadow Pencils so thanks for the reminder.
