You can see that this is a cream product in the picture above. While it looks warm in the pan, I feel it reads cooler on my skin.
The Lowlight Sculpting Perfector is a slightly greyed brown that blends seamlessly into the skin.
In the above photo, I applied the BECCA Lowlight Sculpting Perfector in the hollow of my cheek. I think the color itself works nicely on my skintone as a contour shade. I’m wearing no other makeup in the photo.
While it works nicely on my porcelain skintone, and I think it would work great on light to medium skintones, I think this is a skip for deeper skintones because I don’t think it will show up.
Surprisingly I really like that this is a cream product. I found it easy to apply and blend. Without primer or foundation this product lasted for about 6 hours on me. With primer, I got 10 hours of wear.
If you are new to contouring, I think this is a great product to start with because it’s so easy to apply and blend out.
What do you think of the BECCA Lowlight Sculpting Perfector? Do you prefer cream or powder products for contouring?
Pros
- Cruelty free
- Easy to apply and blend
- Good color match
Cons
- Skip if you’ve got a deeper skintone, as I don’t think this will show up.
Very interesting! Not sure I’d buy it for myself but I love the BECCA brush so I may consider it!
Looks interesting. I’ve never tried cream-based for contouring.
I hadn’t heard about this product until now. It looks so subtle and natural which is right up my alley when it comes to contouring!
Love this. So subtle!
wow, this looks nice on you!
I want to try it myself!
Sounds fab!
WANT WANT WANT!!!
This sounds like such a great product!
I’ve tried many times to contour and I just end up looking like a drag queen. And not a cute one :/ This one looks really great!
This one is pretty much goof proof in my book. It’s easy to contour with it.
I am not a contourer either, I could never seem to master it.
This looks beautiful. I haven’t tried any of Becca’s products yet, have been holding off. I feel like I really want this but part of my knows myself and how seldom I reach for cream products. The tone is beautiful though. 🙂
I’m not a contour-er but this looks awesome!
I never even tried to contour before! Haha I might rock polish like other, make up is a whole different story. This would be a great starter product I think.
I know some people contour daily but it’s not something I do all the time
