Like I said this is a first impressions video so I can’t really comment on wear time as I only had this on for 4 hours the day I shot this video. I do feel this is best for normal to dry skin.
I really like Opal because it didn’t turn orange on me while I was wearing it. I actually feel like Opal matches my face but is slightly too dark for my neck and chest. I think it does a good job masking my redness from rosacea. I feel like it covers minor imperfections in the skin and has a dewy finish.
What do you think of this first look at bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Gel?
More to See
A gel cream sounds amazingly hydrating. This looks fantastic on you. I’m going to have to check it out!
Your skin looks amazing with this foundation. It really covers the redness from the rosacea and your face glows!
That does really take down the redness on your cheeks and nose. If the Opal is slightly too dark for you, it should be a perfect match for me! *g* (And I would prefer to just use the UD blurring brush also.)
What a difference this makes on your skin! So pretty!
Coverage is great, it sounds a lot like Cover Fx gel, what do you think?
oooh, I might have to try it!! I really like the finish on you. Coverage looks pretty!
I have dry skin so I think this would work for me… definitely something I would look into though I’m not sure I would use it often enough to justify the cost just yet.
Yay! I’m so happy to see this review because I JUST got a sample of it in the mail from Sephora. The sample comes with four shades and you don’t need a code for it (it was available in the 3 free samples section last I checked). The shades in the sample pack are: Vanilla 02, Natural 05, Tan 07, and Chestnut 09.
I love the way it looked so creamy and easy to blend in your video! It didn’t cling and it smoothed on so easily! The coverage was really nice and the finish looked pretty. It’s great that is has a naturally derived sunscreen. I’m curious to see if this would work for me but I definitely need to check out Opal for any chance at a color match.
Love the way this looks on your skin. I watched your video and never thought to apply this the way you did. I’m going to try wearing it that way. But this is my current fave foundation product.
Their liquid stuff never works on me (it just disappears) but their pressed does ok… I wonder how the gel would work out? hmmm
Opal you can prob get away with more in the summer? Maybe…
My skin tends to be on the oily side, so I’m not sure it would work for me. I love the finish it gives you!
Although it doesn’t wear for long, I love how it looks on you 😀
I think it looks really good on you. Very natural, yet covers your rosacea nicely!
I love the results on you! It gives better coverage than what one would expect from a “tinted gel”.
I agree, this will work best for those w/ dry and normal skin
This looks great on you. I want to get a sample of a couple of shades of this and give it a whirl. It looks like something I could really like.
I think the coverage looks really nice!
Love the natural finish it gives you!
My skin has gone haywire and I’m probably now too oily for this. I love your hair in this by the way!!
I tried a sample of this in Vanilla, and really loved it. It’s so lightweight, it felt like I was bare-skinned.
I love this, especially the finish b/c I don’t like a “dewy” aka greasy finish. The first shade I tried was Suede and it was too dark, I switched to vanilla and it’s perfect!!
This looks gorgeous on you. Your skin looks beautiful!
Beautiful on you!
Definitely impressive results from what I’ve seen from you and Cindy so far. I am curious to check it out and I like that there are 12 shades
