Baby Bat Beauty Nox Palette Swatches

Baby Bat Beauty Nox Palette

Hey friends, happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing the Baby Bat Beauty Nox Palette with you.  Baby Bat Beauty is a cruelty-free gothic indie makeup brand. The Nox palette is a 100% vegan palette. To create it 100% vegan, some dyes were used. This is not technically a review, because I’ve only been able to swatch the palette, not wear it, but I wanted to share it with you. I can’t tell you how many times I tried to type Nyx instead of Nox when writing this! You may remember me mentioning this vegan gothic eyeshadow palette in my New Cruelty-Free Makeup Releases I’m Excited For video.

I do want to take a minute and say I’m so HAPPY to see Baby Bat Beauty disclosing about the ingredients listing and using dyes that are approved for use in the EU on the eyes, lips and face, but that they are not approved for use around the eyes in the USA. It’s right there, in black and white on the purchase page. None of the pressed pigments is code crap from Baby Bat Beauty.

Nox Palette

The Baby Bat Beauty Nox palette artwork is very cool, in my opinion. Perfect for gothic or vampire beauty lovers. However, I believe these eyeshadows were all pressed in house. Amaya accidentally knocked the palette out of my hands and two of the magnetic eyeshadows popped out but miraculously didn’t break!

L to R – Immortal, Stake, Undead, Glamour, Silver Dagger, Seduction, Bloodlust, Fangs, Bitten, Holy Water

  • Holy Water – white shimmer with a unique red-orange shift
  • Bitten – matte bright red
  • Fangs – metallic red
  • Bloodlust – matte blood red
  • Seduction – burgundy shimmer (the only color I wasn’t happy with the payoff)
  • Silver Dagger – metallic silver
  • Glamour – metallic purple
  • Undead – matte taupe nude
  • Stake – matte neutral brown
  • Immortal – blue based matte black

For some reason, I did not find that Seduction had good color payoff. However, the rest of the eyeshadows that I have from Baby Bat Beauty are awesome! I love the colors in this palette, as a fan of reds.

Since some of you have asked in the past, I’ve also tried the following from Baby Bat Beauty – Lucid, Hex, Spellbound, Iris, Druid, and Amulet eyeshadows, as well as Beneath the Stars, Hex, & Spellbound lip products.

Finally, I’m sorry for lack of daily updates. I’m going through the darkest time I’ve ever been subject to in my life, coupled with grief and losses that keep piling on. I’m trying to do the best that I can & I’m in therapy, but I am definitely struggling. I try to always post something on my IG stories daily & in the PhyrraNyx Facebook group, so that’s a good way to reach me.

I hope you find my Baby Bat Beauty Nox Palette Swatches helpful! If you’re in the market for a red eyeshadow palette, this is a great choice in my opinion. It covers all the bases, plus adds some of my favorite colors like purple, silver, a duochrome red, and a blue-based black. Have you heard of Baby Bat Beauty? What do you think of the Nox palette?

  1. Pretty palette, and great packaging artwork. I hope things get better for you soon. I so sorry you’re having such a bad time. (((((Hugs))))))

  2. I really want to do a grungey look with this! I’m on a no buy until after Christmas but this is definitely on the list for January!

  3. Fun palette! I like the theme of it! I personally wouldn’t be able to pull off using most of the shades (I’m such a neutral girl) but I can’t wait to see the looks others create.

  4. The artwork is very pretty! I might add it to my collection just for that. Sending you virtual gentle ghost hugs – your well-being is of upmost importance, no apologies needed, just recuperate and heal. <3

  5. I hope the sun will come out for you soon, Courtney. And wow, the bat stencils are so cute. That blue-black shade would be a serious winner for me

  6. Courtney you’re doing the best you can considering everything that has happened recently. Take your time & take care of you.

  7. SO pretty! This makes me feel old, but why is “Stake” almost the most appealing color to me in the whole palette?! That is such a rich brown.

  8. First big virtual hugs. Second I can’t believe you found bat shaped stencils for your swatches. This is such a Phyrra palette. That purple is my favorite.
