Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner Pencils – Review & Swatches

A while back I purchased some of the Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner Pencils. They’re currently in outlet, so I’m guessing they’ll be discontinued, which is kind of sad. Regardless, I wanted to share my experiences with them.

This is Steel on the lower waterline, which I do  not recommend.

You know, I’m not a fan of brown eyeliner really, but I love bronze, probably because it’s shimmery. This is what Avon’s Bronze looks like compared to Stila’s Bronze.

Does it live up to its claims?
The pencil does live up to its claims. It’s easy to use, it’s creamy, it lines well. It does indeed remind me of a gel in pencil form. It does wear for hours on me, except on the waterline. I do NOT recommend use on the waterline as it irritated my eyes. I don’t know why they’re discontinuing this product as I feel it works really well and lives up to all its claims.

Would I purchase again?
Yes. I purchased both of mine on sale. I love that you get .04 oz of product per pencil (which is the same as an Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil) and you’re only paying $2.99 vs. $17.
