Gouldylox is Currently Craving: I’m seriously craving a glistening, easy summer eye. Think a smudge of shimmer and a little messy mascara… I think the Platinum Tom Ford Cream Color shadow would be sheer perfection.
Question of the Week: In honor of Prince, share with us your all-time favorite purple makeup product (and your all-time favorite Prince song). Favorite purple makeup product? I have a few since purple is my favorite color – Urban Decay Bittersweet blush, Darling Girl Siren Chic eyeshadow and Sugarpill Poison Plum eyeshadow.
I could never choose just one Prince song, but I loved Gett Off, Diamonds and Pearls, When Doves Cry, and Raspberry Beret.
This has been a rough year for me for celebrities. David Bowie, Alan Rickman and now Prince.
Right now, since I’m hopefully getting the Bon Bon palette tomorrow, my favorite purple shade is Candied Violet in the original Chocolate Bar palette. For lips, I LOVE Melted Fig!

You have the most awesome collection of purples! I don’t know which is harder, picking a favorite purple makeup, or a favorite Prince song. I’ll say my favorite purple lipstick is Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in I’m Royalty; blush is UD Bittersweet; eyeliner is UD Psychedelic Sister; eyeshadows UD Urban, Ardency Inn Royal and (sorry, not CF) MUFE I922 Electric Purple. As for favorite Prince songs…Little Red Corvette, Purple Rain, Kiss, Diamonds & Pearls, to name a few.
