Urban Decay Tonic Tutorial
Happy Friday! Today I am excited to share my Urban Decay Tonic tutorial with you. This is my first eyeshadow tutorial since having my surgery on March 6. It’s sort of a belated Teal Thursday look since I did primarily use teal blue. I used Urban Decay, Makeup Geek and Darling Girl to create this look.

STUNNING. One of the new UD duochrome eyeshadow in action ahhhhhh!!!! It is so beautiful I don’t even know what to do with myself, lol. XD And I am soooooo excited to see the new UD Bitter Sweet blush in action in a video on a skin tone & type similar to mine! Of all the beautiful colors UD put out Bitter Sweet stood out to me like OMG THIS COLOR WOW but I was hoping to see it in action before getting it. AND I got to see it with Osteomancy! *swoon* 😀 This look is a masterpiece! Thank you so much! <333
I really like this look, it’s…ethereal? and I think the color of the blush perfectly complements it
Is the Smashbox liner the only non cruelty free product you used in your video?
All of the products I used are cruelty free. Smashbox is also on my cruelty free list. The brand has assured me that they are not selling in China. Please see my cruelty free list for my list of brands I consider cruelty free, grey area and not cruelty free. https://phyrra.net/2013/10/welcome-new-readers-cruelty-free-beauty-list.html
I loved the eyes 😀
Thanks Betzy!
Absolutely love this! That teal in the crease!! Love this lip combo as well. So glad you’re healed!! Also really adore that silly pic of you – super cute!
Aww thanks Trumpette! I rarely do silly pics but Dave said I should try some.
I love the look you created. The winged liner is a fun shape!
Thank you so much Laura 🙂
Pretty look!
Thanks Cindy!
Love the look you created – especially with my favourite green colours. And that teal wing – really gorgeous.
So happy to hear it Genevieve 🙂
I am loving the look, especially the teal wing. It does perfectly complement your hair color!
Thanks Amber!
perfectly reflects your color on the head 🙂
Thank you!
Great to see your groove back.
Thanks Kath!
So happy to hear you’re healed enough to wear makeup again! You look gorgeous, that silly pic really made me laugh out loud – too cute! The way Osteomancy looks so glowing is giving me the *want-its*!
I think it’s a must have. It’s a great highlighter.
Perfect with your hair!! I’m so happy that you can wear eye makeup again since this is such a pretty look.
Thanks Marcia!
OK…. that thing on your wall. I’m mesmerized. You look like a beautiful sparkly Medusa! haha I know, I know, I’m cracked But your eye makeup is gorgeous, as always 🙂
Thank you! That’s my purple tree 🙂
Foundation looks really good too, nice match.
Thanks Cin! The .5 on its own was a bit dark, but mixed with the white moisturizer for the 2nd layer, that fixed it
This goes perfectly with your hair! You look gorgeous, as usual! xoxo!
Thanks Brooke <3
Beautiful look. I’m sorry application is still painful for you, but you look wonderful.
Thanks Rachel, it’s ok 🙂 I just felt like it took me forever to remove it. I used the coconut oil gently first, then makeup remover for the mascara.
You look amazing!
Thanks Elena!
LOVE your hair! And the look too!
Thanks Carleen! <3
That’s a gorgeous eye look, and I actually like your “silly pic” the best 🙂 It looks like you’re having a lot of fun!
Thanks! I need to try to do them more often 😉
Tonic and Snowboarding Cutie are amazing. Beautiful look, sorry it’s still painful to apply some eye makeup, I was wincing along with you!
Aww thanks Nidia! Yeah the pain is worth it though. Having great vision is amazing. It’s truly a gift when you weren’t born with it.
Yay – so glad to see you do eye makeup again – woohoo! I love these shades on you and they go so well with your gorgeous hair.
Thank you so much Honey 🙂
So nice to see your pretty eyes with makeup again! This look is a real stunner! Just like a Monet painting 🙂
Ooh I love Monet! Thanks Allison
Look at you having eye makeup on again! I love the shapes you created with this look. 🙂
Thank you! It felt so good to play with makeup again.
Looking forward to seeing the video 😉
The video is embedded in the post now. I was apparently so tired when I thought I finished this post last night that I forgot to put the code in.
