Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Balance Moisturizing Conditioner Review

Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Balance Moisturizing Conditioner Review

I’ve been on the lookout for a good conditioner that’s pH balancing to use after bleaching and dyeing my hair. After a great deal of research, I found out that Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Balance Moisturizing Conditioner fit the bill, so I purchased it from Amazon to give it a try.  I mentioned this product recently in my latest installment of How to Take Care of Brightly Colored Hair.

The Website Says

Perfect for use daily, it infuses moisture and exceptional shine, without weighing hair down. Enhanced with organic botanicals, it does not contain laurel/laureth sulfates.

Would I purchase again?
Yes! It’s a very nice, balanced moisturizing conditioner! Additionally, Ray loves it. He has very fine hair and often a moisturizer will weigh his hair down. This doesn’t do that at all. It’s perfect for using after you bleach and color your hair to calm your hair down. I like the ingredients, how it smells and how it makes my hair feel. I’m always happy to find a (relatively) easy to find, cruelty-free, sulfate free brand. I say relatively easy because, while there are no Trader Joe’s close to me, most people don’t have that issue. And hey, if you’re not close to one, you can always order from Amazon like I did!

It really lives up to all its claims for me. It’s also a pretty good deal for the price, though several people have told me that it’s cheaper in store than on Amazon.

Have you tried Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Balance Moisturizing Conditioner?

  1. Seriously?  Throw some carcinogenic parabens in with some organic oil?  WTF?  I can’t believe in 2013 any products sold in a “natural” store would contain parabens.  Sorry… thumbs way down…

  2. It’s definitely either 3 or 4 bucks a bottle at the store. Can’t believe someone is selling it on Amazon for that price! It’s great that people without a TJ’s near them can get this product, but WTF?!

  3. This sounds really awesome. Thanks for tip about purchasing on Amazon I see a lot of people raving about various trader Joe products but ours is so far away!

  4. I use this conditioner instead of shampoo — works great and never weighs down my hair!  Love this stuff!

  5. Almost $10 per bottle? Someone is making a huge profit!
This is my favorite conditioner, I use about a bottle a month, but luckily I buy it straight from Trader Joe’s, so it’s $2.99 I think, maybe $3.99. I also use the matching shampoo, same price, and SLS free
And if you want to repurchase, email me, I’m at Trader Joe’s all the time 🙂

  6. This stuff is KING in the natural hair community. I’ve been using it for almost 10 years and recently bought it again and it’s still wonderful. Let me know if you need to scoop up a few bottles for you from Trader Joe’s. I go there at least once a month on my way to and from Tallahassee. 🙂
