Top 10 Best Cruelty-free Cream Makeup
It’s time for another Top 10 Tuesday! This time we’re discussing our Top 10 Lists for the Best Cream Makeup. I chose 10 cruelty-free products that I think you need to check out.
1. Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick
Mally Beauty is a brand that is new to me, but their shadow sticks are renowned. I finally got my hands on one and it’s beautiful.
The Shadow Stick is your primer, shadow base, and eye shadow all in one. You can also use it as an eyeliner. It won’t come off until you take it off! You can use it to line and define or create a quick smokey eye. The creamy texture helps to smooth out fine lines. Once your beautiful eye look is complete you can be sure it will stay fresh all day long!
2. Silk Naturals Chromatic Cream Eye Color
The innovative indie company Silk Naturals created an entire new line this year called Chromatic Cream Eye Colors, which I reviewed here.
Chromatics Cream Eye Colors are luminous, well pigmented, and smudge proof but not waterproof. Silica helps absorb excess oil to help keep it crease-free for hours. If you have really oily lids you may still need a separate primer. It’s simple to remove with just water. These are a 100% naturally derived formula. No parabens, silicones, oils, or petroleum products.
3. Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Cream Blush
I LOVE the Tarina Tarantino Dollskin blushes, and the cream blushes are gorgeous. So far they come in two shades – coral and pink. I own the coral and love it to pieces.
These exquisite blush duos blend effortlessly on your cheeks with the subtle glisten of Sparklicity, now in powder form! This velvety cream to powder blush formulation acts as a magnet for sparklicity powder giving long-lasting fantastical results while leaving skin moisturized and healthy looking!
4. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Shadow Pencil
I own almost every color that Urban Decay has released in this format and love them all. They’re pigmented and long wearing, even through the hot Florida Summer.
Big and blendable, this 2-in-1 waterproof 24/7 shadow pencil keeps going as long as you do. Our next generation of famous 24/7 pencils can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or both!
5. Milani Shadow Eyez
I really like both the LE Naturally Chic and the regular Milani Shadow Eyez. I still can’t fathom why the matte black isn’t permanent! It’s awesome!
Get Naturally Chic with these big and blendable 2-in-1 color rich nude pencils that can be used as shadow or liner. Creamy smooth, long-lasting, water-resistant, crease-proof and Paraben-free formula.
6. Nyx Rouge Cream Blush
I have the Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Natural and it’s very nice. It’s a gorgeous color that you can wear on its own or use as a base for other blushes.
More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant color. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting.
7. tarte SmolderEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner
These fabulous liners by tarte are smudge proof and budge proof. They can be used as shadow or liners. Golden Black is especially gorgeous.
This waterproof liner creates smoldering, sexy eyes that won’t budge, letting you go from simple to sultry in an instant. Create a crisp liner look by gliding along the upper and lower lash line or use the built-in smudger to soften. For a sultry, smoky eye, use the liner as a shadow by applying a thicker line along upper lashes and blending toward the crease. No matter how you wear this versatile liner, Amazonian clay works to nourish lids, reduce surface oil, and improve overall texture for easy application and better wear. Once you apply, this liner will lock down to a completely waterproof finish for guaranteed longer wear. The rich, pure pigments are boosted by Amazonian clay for truer, bolder color with each application.
8. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Crème Colour Concentrate
These multi-purpose products from OCC come in 9 shades and counting. You can use them anywhere on the face that you want.
This new texture innovation from OCC is a smooth, blendable, buildable cream coverage product that’s suitable for use on the eyes, lips, and cheeks! Loaded with emollients and humectants including aloe leaf extract, cocoa extract, and vitamin E, Crème Colour Concentrate goes on smoothly and wears like a dream. Apply anywhere intense, fashion-forward color is desired for a look that will last all day.
9. NARS The Multiple
These multi-purpose sticks work best for me on the cheeks, or sometimes to highlight on the browbone. I just love them because they’re so pretty!
François Nars’ iconic innovation, the original multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Its unique creamy formula and sheer color blends effortlessly to create shimmering accents; contours or dynamic highlights on all skin tones. Apply with fingers: the skin’s warmth allows for perfect blending. Mistake-proof color; quick and easy to apply. Sheer, natural finish for eyes, cheeks and lips. Enriched with Vitamin E and açai oil for antioxidant benefits.
10. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick

A Girl’s Gotta Spa!
I’m surprised Mally is on there, as so far they have refused to confirm if their ingredients are tested on animals. The statement on their website doesn’t clarify this either.
I’m shocked you have Urban Decay & Nars on this list since they have been selling in China since 2011 and China requires animal testing of ingredients and final product. Most Cruelty Free organizations do not support these brands and many others now because of their business choices in China. Also, Nars has never openly said if their brushes were synthetic or animal hair.
Hi Hannah,
You’re misinformed about Urban Decay and NARS. Neither are selling in China.
Additionally, I do list in my FAQ (and several blog posts) that I choose to support companies such as Urban Decay and NARS who are cruelty free even though their parent companies are not cruelty free.
Urban Decay listened to their fans and decided NOT to sell in China.

NARS Animal Testing Policy
http://www.narscosmetics.com/customer-care#Does-NARS-test-on-animals_3F00_
NARS does not test on animals, nor do we have any other parties, such as suppliers, conduct any animal testing on our behalf. NARS uses only the highest quality ingredients which have a proven safety record and are widely used in the cosmetics industry.
NARS Ingredients
We are continually evaluating alternatives to animal-derived ingredients and have replaced many ingredients with vegetable derived substitutes. However, certain NARS products may contain animal derivatives, such as lanolin. If you would like further information as to which NARS products contain animal derivatives please contact customer care and we will provide that information.
NARS Brushes
Many of NARS brushes are made from animal hair. The hair for each brush is determined in order to provide the best application possible. When natural hair is used, it is difficult to provide uniformity with regard to hair length for every strand therefore; shorter hairs may be bundled with longer strands which may cause some shedding. We take many steps to reduce excessive shedding and to provide the best product possible. An additional step that can be taken to help minimize brush shedding is to occasionally wash your brushes with a mild shampoo. Be careful not to get water in to the top of the ferrule as this can deteriorate the glue which will cause separation from the brush head and the handle. Rinse brushes until the water runs clear. Gently re-shape brushes and let them air dry laying flat.
Please note: no animals are harmed in any way while collecting the natural hair used in many of our brushes.

ANIMAL TESTING POLICY
Urban Decay is a cruelty-free brand and is committed to ending animal testing. We do not test our products on animals, nor do we allow others to test on our behalf. Additionally, we require our suppliers to certify that the raw materials used in the manufacture of our products are not tested on animals. Our Brand is certified by both PETA and The Leaping Bunny Program (CCIC) as cruelty-free.
