I like the Too Faced White Peach packaging. It’s very similar to the Just Peachy mattes palette. I bought this palette because I loved the Just Peachy mattes palette. See my Just Peachy mattes review.

Too Faced claims this is an ombré layout like the Just Peachy mattes but I don’t see it at all. Ombré typically means from light to dark and this isn’t in order.

I wanted to test the LASplash foundation in Sesame out one more time without adding white to it. It’s clearly too dark on its own for me. It needs white to make it a better match for my skintone. My face looks darker than my neck and chest, which I hate. Someone commented that Sesame was my ‘best match’ that they’d seen on my arm, even though I patiently explained that my arms are darker than my face, neck or chest from all the time I’ve spent in the sun with Nyx and Phaedra.

Too Faced White Peach Palette Review

As you can see in the video, the Too Faced White Peach Palette really disappoints me. I like about 7 of the colors but dislike the other 5. I was surprised that Peach Passion applied nicely when wet. Glistening Peach and Creme de la Peach were terrible. I didn’t like Peach Ice or Peach Smoothie much either.  I was honestly shocked by how badly Glistening Peach performed compared to other brands with similar colors.

Peach Cream, Peach Sorbet, Sweet Fig, Fuzzy, On the Grill and Peach Suede did well. So did Peaches & Dreams. I expected these mattes to be nice.

While the White Peach Palette is a somewhat cool-toned palette, it does have a lot of warmer shades in it, in my opinion. It’s not 100% cool-toned. That may be a deal breaker for some people.

I do really like the Too Faced White Peach Palette packaging. It’s compact and sturdy.

Overall, I’m deeply disappointed in the Too Faced White Peach Palette and I’m going to return it. It’s just not for me. If all the colors performed as well as the Sweet Fig or On the Grill, I’d keep it.

  1. When I see the phrase “white peach” it made me hope this was more for fairer complexions. But some of those shades are too orange for fair like me. Oh well.

  2. This is off topic, but do you plan on getting the Sugarpill x Little Twin Stars collection? If yes, would you do comparison swatches to similar colors they’ve already released? The teal looks like Kim Chi, the pink looks like Suburbia, the beige looks like Heart Shaped Cookie, and the brown looks like Pumpkin Spice. I’m worried the palette might be redundant to those who already have those colors!

    1. I need to see swatches of it. I’m probably not buying it based on what I’ve seen so far. I agree with you it looks very similar to the colors you mentioned.

  3. I haven’t been tempted by Too Faced at all in a long time and this review confirms it. I really appreciate how honest you are!

      1. Wow. Now that is bad. Glad you could return it, though, and get something you actually like instead!

  4. I was drooling over this palette because of packaging but looks like it’s not worth spending the money on. Loved the swatches ❤️

  5. It’s so odd to hear that stores take makeup back. That has to be a total write-off since they can’t be re-sold. I believe this adds to the cost for everyone overall. The few items I’ve purchased and did not like, I’ve sold to that online makeup reseller. I know it was a loss, but I just can’t make myself return used items, even if I hate them. How does everyone else feel about this issue? Would love to hear your thoughts as well.

    1. I used to never return things, just give them away to friends. Now I return them when I can because I hate wasting money.

  6. What a shame, because it’s a pretty palette that could have been good for fair-skinned people.
