Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Review

When I saw that Too Faced was finally coming out with long-wearing eyeliners I had to give them a try. So I picked up Perfect Black Orchid (a blackened plum) and Perfect Peacock (a blue-based teal).

The Website Claims:
A creamy, long-wearing eyeliner that glides on with the ease of a liquid liner and locks down for eight hours of budge-proof, smudge-proof wear. These high-impact pencils come in various waterproof shades ranging from the necessary classics to cutting-edge couture. Each includes a flexi-firm, beveled smudger to allow a smoky blend or precise line. Once applied, this eyeliner won’t transfer, smudge, or budge. This creamy smooth liner glides on effortlessly never pulling, skipping, or slipping.

Does it live up to its claims?
On me, these pencils live up to their claims. They last through a work day on me without giving me raccoon eyes. The colors are very pigmented and I can wear them on my waterline without any issues. If you rub at your eyes a lot, these may smudge a bit on you. However, they didn’t smudge when my eyes were watery from allergies and I dabbed at my lash line with a tissue.

Would I purchase again?
Yes! Perfect Black Orchid is the shade that matches my hair when you can see the hint of purple in it. Perfect Peacock is now my favorite teal liner because it is a blue-based teal, it’s dark and intense. Both are shades I love and would definitely purchase again. As far as pricing goes, they’re the same size/price as the UD 24/7s, so they seem reasonable to me. It’s nice to see Too Faced getting into the liner game with these offerings.

What do you think of the new Too Faced liners?

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

  1. I just bought Perfect Peacock last night. I was browsing in Sephora and just happened to spot them, swatch them, and ended up buying one. Before actually getting it out of the box, I decided to see if you happened to have reviewed them as I’ve noticed that you use several Too Faced products. Now I know to whip that liner out and use it!

  2. I’m a sucker for anything that is a blackened purple. If only I didn’t *just* buy three new eyeliners! But it is nice to see Too Faced expanding a bit more, I have a few products from them that I really enjoy.

  3. Thanks for the review! I have been pondering checking out the 24/7 liners, but maybe I’ll have to give these a try instead!

  4. These are gorgeous and totally unlike anything I own- which sucks for my bank account! Another thing to add to my seeming infinitely-long wishlist…

    1. Keep an eye out for a sephora friends and family sale for your wishlist! That can help 🙂

  5. I saw these at ulta, swatched on my hand and came thiiiisss close to buying both of those! LOL…I’ll get them soon, thanks for the review!
