Teal Eyeshadow Tutorial for Hooded Eyes

Teal Eyeshadow Tutorial for Hooded Eyes

Today I’ve got a Teal Eyeshadow Tutorial for Hooded Eyes. I used Makeup Geek Baby Face as my base shade, then put Peacock on my lid and hood of the eye. I blended Urban Decay Gonzo into Peacock to make it a more rich and complex shade. To lighten my lid, I used Colour Pop Kindness. I am telling you, this is an amazing eyeshadow! It really enhances the teal blue tones here, but you need to see it in my Naked Smoky Kindness look and my Poison Plum Kindness look to really appreciate the versatility of this eyeshadow! It’s amazing no matter what you pair it with.

I should have used tinted brow gel to hold my brows in place. I was trying to go for more natural looking brows, so I’m not really happy with how they turned out. Also I learned that I should never ever try to layer tarte Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara with anything else, because it turns into a clumpy mess.

I actually love all three of these different lip looks so I wanted to share them all. I do think Cinderhella is especially flattering.

Which lip color would you choose?

  2. Ooooh Cinderhella! I am loving that lippie! It’s more pink than I’d normally reach for, but a deep pink is good 🙂

  3. I LOVE this gorgeous look…………I will be trying this as I have hooded eyes………..ty for the post. xxx

  4. What a gorgeous teal shade! I am totally in love with the second lip colour.

  5. Gorgeous look, and stunning photos. Although I love the way 1 & 3 look on you, I like #2 to go with the bright teal eye

  6. Pretty! It looks great with all three lip colors, too. Always nice to see the Electric Palette make an appearence. Whimsical looks beautiful in the inner corner. I went teal today, too (ColourPop Coconut; first time using it) with Melted Rainbow on my lips.

    1. When I applied Gonzo during this tutorial I was like, why am I not using this palette daily? The colors are so gorgeous and they apply and blend like a dream.

      1. Electric palette is so fun. I use it in spurts, but I keep coming back to it.

  7. I love that Anastasia in Unicorn. I’m going to need that even though it’s only at Macy’s. It really flatters your eye look too.

  8. No wonder you love teal eye shadows – they look sensational on you. Adore the colour myself and as I have hooded eyes too, this tutorial has been really helpful.

    1. Thank you so much! I’m now on the quest for the perfect bright mattes palette because I need more buttery smooth colors for my hood.

  9. Absolutely breathtaking! I also really need Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Apocalipstick in Bruja!
