Sleeping Beauty: Overnight Skincare Secrets
Sleeping Beauty: Overnight Skincare
Happy Makeup Wars Monday! It’s Sleeping Beauty: Overnight Skincare Secrets edition. I’m sharing what I use to help me get my beauty sleep at night.
PR + purchased by me.
Sleeping Beauty: What’s in my Overnight Skincare Regime
Mulberry Silk Pillowcase
This sleeping beauty started using a mulberry silk pillowcase at night. It’s supposed to reduce facial wrinkles and prevent damage to your hair. I think it certainly helps to make my hair smoother. I just started using this in place of a sleep bonnet. The silk pillowcase shares many of the same hair benefits as a satin bonnet. It’s also supposed to be less irritating to my sensitive skin and rosacea.
Anti-Wrinkle Beauty Pillow
I also have an anti-wrinkle memory foam sleeping beauty pillow. I love this thing and I’ve been using it for about 2 years now. I even take it with me when I travel.
The Honeycomb Brand Satin Bonnet
If you’re trying to grow your hair out, I highly recommend a satin bonnet. They’re perfect for protecting your hair. Your hair won’t be dried out and it can help reduce split ends. I’ve used one of these for quite a while now.
Lucy Minerals Ambrosia for Dry Skin Beauty Oil
The Lucy Minerals Ambrosia for Dry Skin Beauty Oil is a miracle in a bottle. I use this as the last step in my overnight skincare routine. It has shea butter, avocado oil, cherry kernel oil, rosehip oil, aloe vera extract, jojoba oil, argan oil, camellia oil and rose geranium oil. It’s amazing for dry skin.
Bee Friendly Anti-Aging Face Cream
Bee Friendly Anti-Aging Face Cream is made of Purified Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax with Pollen & Propolis, Raw Hawaiian Honey, Essential Oils, Vitamin E. It’s been my current overnight skincare treatment. It’s very thick but absorbs quickly and feels great.
The Body Shop Oils of Life Eye Cream
The Body Shop Oils of Life Eye Cream has become my go-to eye cream. I use it twice a day. I feel like it reduces dark circles and puffiness and makes my eyes appear smooth.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask
The Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask is amazing. It’s literally the last thing I put on before I fall asleep and I wake up with plump, hydrated lips.
The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter
I use the Body Shop Coconut Body Butter on my arms, legs, and feet at night before bed.
Paula’s Choice Radiance Renewal Mask
The Paula’s Choice Radiance Renewal Mask can be used once a week as the last step in your overnight skincare routine. I use it on occasion and really enjoy it.
Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
The Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask is one of my all-time favorite masks. I’ve been known to sleep in it on occasion, too.
These are my Sleeping Beauty: Overnight Skincare secrets. What are yours?

Beauty pillows are such a great idea. Luckily, I trained myself to sleep without putting pressure on my face a long time ago (thank you never healing cartilage ear piercings lol) so I’ve never developed the sleep lines. I just hate feeling my face smashed on a pillow!
I need to try the Bee Friendly Anti-Aging Face Cream ASAP! It sounds amazing!
This reminds me!! I need to find my pillow case!!
Wonderful post. You do all the hard work of figuring it out. I had wanted a silk pillow case, but it’s so hard to sort through which one is really good and the one you selected is far less expensive and hyped than others I’ve seen. Now, the sleep bonnet idea is new to me. I would not want something cutting off the circulation while I sleep, but with my long wavy hair and it’s tendency to tangle, the bonnet might be a good idea, providing it’s loose enough. I’ve not been that good in the overnight mask department. It’s mostly slap on a face cream with a squirt of rose hip or argan or something else.
The Glossier Moon Mask is on my must buy, must try list. That you use it as an overnight treatment makes it sound even more appealing and useful.
I’ve been struggling with crazy dehydration (as in peeling that I’ve never, ever experienced before with my oily skin) that I thought was due to menopause but may be related to my use of hyaluronic acid. So I’ve removed any products with HA from my routine to see if that helps. Anyway, I’ve been using a serum I’ve made with hemp oil, tamanu oil, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil and argan oil. It takes maybe 20 minutes to full absorb but I’ve been happy so far. I then apply Guinot Hyrdra Beaute cream.
Hi Courtney I Hope All is Well for n Your Neck of the Woods, the Sun Finally Came Out Here Where I Live Because it Had Been So Rainy for a Few Days in a Row! Thanks for Sharing Your Awesome Overnight Skincare Products With Me, I Really Love the Idea of Treating Your Skin While You are Recharging Your Batteries! I Really Want That Mulberry Silk Pillowcase But Not Just Because it’s Good for Your Skin But Because I Have Horrible Chronic Pain & Neck Pain and That Pillowcase Would Feel Nice and Cool Since it’s Silk! I am Also Kind of Interested in the Anti-Wrinkle Beauty Pillow But the Only Thing is That I Can Only Sleep on Certain Kind of Pillows Because of the Discomfort in My Neck So I Don’t Know How it Would Work for Me! The Bodyshop Oils of Life Eye Cream Also Sounds Great and I Really Need a Good Eye Cream Because I’m Ashamed to Admit That I’m Not Currently Using One But I Really Just Can’t Afford to Buy a Lot Right Now So I Just Buy the Bare Minimums Right Now! Well Thanks Again for Sharing With Us Courtney, Have a Great Afternoon Sweetie! – Jana
Thanks for sharing the sleep pillow and pillowcase. Great idea. Your choices are excellent. How fragrant is the Lucy Minerals?
I love Paula’s Choice! I really need to dig out my Silk pillowcase. I totally forgot I had one until now!
This is an absolutely fantastic post, Courtney! I love all of your choices, and the fact that you went well beyond skincare products!
